Your role at Dynatrace
Dynatrace is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Senior Director of Technical Marketing to help shape the future of our category-defining observability platform. In this highly visible leadership role, you will report to the VP of Portfolio Marketing and lead a team of technical product marketers. You'll drive go-to-market (GTM) strategy, messaging, and enablement of key strategic product portfolio solutions-including our rapidly growing log management and analytics solutions - ensuring our innovations translate into clear, differentiated value for our buyers and users.
This role requires a deep understanding of the SaaS buyer journey, technical fluency in modern cloud-native environments, and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams to execute cross-functional programs that drive awareness, adoption, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development: Lead and grow a high-caliber team of senior technical product marketing managers, providing clear direction, coaching, and development opportunities.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Own and drive technical marketing strategy for new product launches, feature releases, and key initiatives-partnering closely with Product, Sales, and Enablement to ensure alignment and impact.
Positioning & Messaging: Define and continuously refine differentiated competitive positioning for our platform, products, and solutions-anchored in customer insight and competitive dynamics.
Competitive Intelligence: Work closely with our competitive intelligence team, delivering actionable insights that inform product strategy, sales tactics, and market positioning.
Sales Enablement: Partner with sales enablement to equip the field with compelling narratives, playbooks, and tools that accelerate deal velocity and maximize win rates.
Cross-functional Leadership: Act as connective tissue across Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Enablement to drive aligned execution and measurable business outcomes.
What will help you succeed
Minimum Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience in B2B enterprise SaaS/could product marketing, including 5+ years managing and scaling technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of observability, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and preferably log management and analytics.
  • Proven track record driving business growth and market share across multiple segments
  • Exceptional communication skills-able to craft compelling narratives and influence across all levels.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into strategic decisions.
  • Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environments with a builder mentality.
  • Demonstrated ability successfully represent Dynatrace to C-level executives and to a large audience
