Job Summary: 

PetPartners is seeking a Director, Sales Enablement who will lead our organization’s strategy, development, and execution of enablement programs that drive integration, productivity and performance across the sales organization.  This role is responsible for creating scalable enablement programs, optimizing sales processes, and aligning go-to-market initiatives across departments. With a focus on driving sales productivity, accelerating time-to-revenue, and improving win rates, the Director partners closely with leadership to ensure reps have the knowledge, tools, and support needed to exceed targets.  The role works across the IPG organization to determine the appropriate level of customization for each group brough in based on the deal economics and overall level of effort.

Focus Areas: 

  • Strategic Initiative Leadership - Leads high-impact initiatives that support the sales channel, aligning cross-functional efforts to drive growth, improve efficiency, and elevate the overall customer, client, and broker experience. Defines clear objectives, develops actionable recommendations, and secures necessary resources to execute against strategic goals. Serves as a trusted subject matter expert and advocate for the sales organization, ensuring initiatives are designed and implemented with a sales-first perspective and a focus on long-term success.

  • Sales Channel Growth & Development - Leads the growth and evolution of partner channels by identifying opportunities, optimizing strategies, and building scalable enablement and onboarding programs. Collaborates cross-functionally to enhance partner performance, improve go-to-market alignment, and drive revenue through a high-impact partner ecosystem.

  • Change Management & Scalability - Drives sales transformation and organizational growth by leading change initiatives.  Develop scalable processes and enablement programs that support repeatable success. 

  • Cross Functional Alignment – Catalyst as strategic bridge between internal teams to ensure strategies are aligned and messaging is consistent across channels.  Acts as a central connector to unify efforts across teams, ensuring sales has what it needs to succeed at every stage of the funnel. 

Main Responsibilities:      

  • Design and implement scalable sales enablement programs that can grow with the organization, adapting to industry landscape. 

  • Ensure consistent adoptions of sales methodologies and best practices across the sales organization, fostering a unified approach.  

  • Work closely with revenue operations to ensure seamless data flow, accurate forecasting, and alignment with sales strategies with overall organization objectives. 

  • Fosters a growth mindset across the sales org, encouraging continuous learning, feedback, and development

  • Mentor and develop team members, providing coaching and support to enhance their skills and professional growth

  • Establish feedback mechanisms with the sales team to continually improve enablement programs based on real-world sales challenges and successes.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Develop, mentor, and manage a high performing team

  • Provide strategic direction, and foster a culture of accountability and innovation, ensuring exceptional service delivery and driving sales growth.   

Basic Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business discipline or related field

  • Minimum of ten years industry experience and leadership experience in developing and leading high-performing sales operations teams

  • In-depth knowledge of insurance products, market trends, and regulatory environment, specific knowledge of group voluntary insurance benefits is highly desired.

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Forward-thinking strategist that proactively anticipates market shifts, pioneers innovative enablement strategies, and drives continuous improvement to ensure the sales organization remains competitive and aligned with industry trends. .

  • Applies a data-driven approach to inform strategi decisions and enhance sales effectiveness.  

  • Develop KPI’s such as ramp time reduction, increased quota attainment, sales content and tool adoption, and measurable impact on sales productivity and revenue performance.

  • Build strong relationships with the Leadership Team in the creation and implementation of business development strategy. 

  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability adept at swiftly adjusting strategies and approaching to meet evolving market demands and drive consistent success.

  • An authentic and tenacious leader who leans in to partnering with peers and is a collaborative team leader who is steadfast in leading by example.

  • Exemplary organizational skills coupled with proactive initiative-taking meticulous attention to detail, and adept time management, flourishing in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.
