The Role

The Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives will lead large cross-functional teams through the horizontal and/or functional level processes required to develop, plan and implement key companywide go-to-market (GTM) strategic initiatives, including refinement and/or creation of business processes, operational best practices and change management. The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of strategy, operations, technology, business acumen, and program management expertise to realize next level of scale and achieve our strategic, financial, and operational objectives.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the process of develop, plan and implement key companywide strategic initiatives, including go-to-market strategy, product, business operations, and organizational transformation
  • Operate as a Strategy Business Partner to one or more senior leaders of the company to develop, plan and implement key enterprise-wide strategies, manage, and communicate results
  • Develop detailed project plans; drive accountability of tasks, deadlines and results, with employees that are not direct reports
  • Drive key initiatives through identification, management and monitoring of results, challenges and opportunities
  • Maintain strong focus on implementation and change management to ensure initiatives are successfully translated into execution
  • Identify initiative dependencies and risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Build Executive presentations to share insights/implications, provide progress updates, and escalate critical items
  • Infuse external best practices and methodologies into the organization, while listening and adapting these best practices with what’s best for BeyondTrust
  • Refinement and/or creation of business processes, operational best practices and change management

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Advanced understanding/certifications in project management and change management
  • Advanced Microsoft Office, Salesforce
  • 7-10 years of experience in strategic planning, program management and change management
  • 5-7 years of experience in end-to-end business process redesign
  • 7-10 years working directly in technology, cybersecurity and/or enterprise software companies with a demonstrated understanding of critical operational elements of core software business functions is required
  • Experience leading company-wide GTM initiatives within the technology industry
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, identify operational gaps, and develop integrated solutions through cross-functional teams (without a direct reporting structure)
  • Executive level verbal and written communications and presentation skills; ability to communicate at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to build relationships and inspire/influence colleagues at all levels
  • A strong sense of urgency and drive for results
  • Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement
