About The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Front-End Engineer (React Native focus) to join our Social team, the team behind the core social experiences driving hundreds of millions in onchain activity on Zora. You’ll play a key role in evolving our existing social features and bringing new ideas to life — from concept and design to launch. If you’re excited about shaping how people create, connect, and collect onchain, we’d love to have you on board.

What You'll Do:
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers across the stack to build and continuously improve trading-related features
  • Develop and maintain performant, scalable user interfaces across mobile and web
  • Take ownership of projects end-to-end, working independently while seeking guidance from senior peers and managers as needed
  • Communicate status, updates, blockers, etc., to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Respond to incidents as part of an on-call rotation
  • Participate in RFC and code review
What We're Looking For:
  • 4+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer
  • Strong technical background building consumer- or user-facing applications at scale using React/React Native
  • You’re comfortable working through the product lifecycle, partnering closely with Designers, Engineers, and Product Managers to bring ideas to life
  • You have a strong product sense and keep user needs front and center when building and improving features
  • Familiarity with crypto features and concepts
  • A desire to keep up with modern best practices in software development and Web3
  • U.S. time zone
Here's the Pay Range:
At Zora, we carefully consider a variety of factors to determine compensation for each position, including the role, level, and work. The US base salary range for this position is:
  • Pay Range: $160,000 - $190,000 base salary + equity + tokens
This reflects the compensation target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Please note, the compensation details provided do not include benefits and perks that we offer. 
 
We also rely on market indicators along with considering your work location, job related skills, experience and relevant education and training, to determine compensation that is fair and competitive for you. Zora will consider paying compensation near the higher of the range in exceptional circumstances, where candidates have the experience, credentials or expertise that would warrant such consideration. It is always our goal to hire exceptional talent and we would be happy to share more about compensation during the hiring process.
