Responsibilities

MarTech Strategy & Administration

  • Administer, configure, and optimize marketing technology platforms like MAP & CRM systems, data lake, web, ABM, sales engagement, paid media, intent, and analytics solutions.
  • Manage integrations (e.g., Marketo-SFDC, form capture, event/webinar, chat, enrichment) with close attention to data quality, sync health, and error handling.
  • Implement and optimize lead lifecycle processes from acquisition to sales handoff (statuses, routing, dedupe, compliance), partnering with Sales/RevOps/SDRs.
  • Design scalable data architectures supporting lead management, customer lifecycle processes, data governance, lead/account scoring, attribution, and reporting.
  • Evaluate, implement, and integrate new technologies to support business objectives.

Process Management & Workflow Engineering

  • Document and standardize operational procedures (SOPs) for campaign build, QA, launches, data hygiene, MarTech documentation, and reporting.
  • Instrument KPIs (e.g., time-to-launch, error rates, contact database, lead flows) and drive continuous improvement.
  • Define standards, documentation, and operating procedures for systems, automations, integrations, and AI solutions. Design and implement automated workflows that eliminate manual effort across lead management, data enrichment, scoring, routing, reporting, and operational processes.
  • Develop end-to-end process automations using low-code, no-code, and programmatic solutions.
  • Build reusable frameworks and automation templates that improve operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Monitor automation performance and continuously optimize for reliability and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and governance standards.

AI-First Automation & Innovation

  • Automate repetitive workflows using Zapier/Make, Azure, and LLMs where applicable.
  • Leverage AI tools and workflows for QA checklists and campaign operations processes with strong guardrails around data privacy and accuracy.
  • Pilot, measure, and maintain automations and workflows to scale across the team.
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI tools and emerging technologies to solve operational bottlenecks, with the instinct to experiment and iterate.

Marketing Operations Team Leadership

  • Act as a functional Team Lead / coordinator across broader Marketing Technology & Intelligence capabilities, including MarTech, Campaign Operations, Lead Management & Database Management
  • Facilitate cross-functional prioritization and resolution of operational dependencies
  • Identify common process, data and technology issues across teams and drive coordinated resolution
  • Promote consistent operating standards, documentation, governance and best practices across the function
Qualifications
  • 7+ years in Marketing Operations/Marketing Automation with deep hands-on Marketo administration (program/channel setup, smart campaigns, tokens, schemas, forms, landing pages, email templating, assets, MSI), plus Salesforce experience.
  • Proven MarTech administration across webinar and chat tools, including integration setup and troubleshooting.
  • Experience building and maintaining campaign processes (intake to build to QA to launch to measure) with task/work management tools (e.g., Asana).
  • Lead lifecycle and scoring administration, with change documentation and testing discipline.
  • Meticulous attention to data quality, governance, and documentation; comfort working across time zones.
  • Demonstrated automation mindset using Zapier/Make and familiarity with Azure services or LLMs, OR evidence of a builder instinct - experimenting with AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, or Copilot; building personal workflows or automations; or teaching yourself something technical to solve a real problem. High curiosity, comfort with ambiguity, and a bias for action.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
