Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Sr. Manager of Strategy and Business Development in Seattle, WA.
Part of the BGS Cabin, Mods, and Maintenance organization, this senior manager will own growth for the aftermarket modifications business and support integration with Boeing Encore Interiors. This role requires a highly strategic, customer-focused mindset to set the roadmap for new product and service offerings, ability to work across functions to execute, and well-honed customer-facing skills. You will be managing a team of high performing product managers across disciplines ranging from avionics to connectivity to interiors to work transfer, who each mature development projects through Gate 4/early development.
The day-to-day of this role is highly varied and highly visible. One day may be working on a new partnership for connectivity while the next could involve talking to lessors about creating standard kits of parts. You will be responsible for creating a pipeline of development projects to fulfill the business's growth needs, allocating budget to projects, and ensuring execution. This senior manager regularly works with other functions within BGS, such as engineering and marketing, and other groups throughout Boeing, like BCA product development.

Position Responsibilities:
- Work with Modifications and Encore leadership to identify offering gaps
- Create strategy and roadmap for growth of the Modifications business
- Support rapid investigation, identification, testing of potential solutions
- Manage a team of product manager ICs, including fostering a healthy team culture
- Define new processes to optimize workflows
- Represent aftermarket modifications interests in development conversations with BCA
- Partner with engineering, marketing, and sales to successfully execute and launch new offerings
- Budget management and reporting
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or a technical discipline
- 7+ years of experience in a business or technical role
- Business acumen proven through previous experience
- Previous direct or indirect people management experience
- Previous experience working with technical teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- MBA
- Previous budget management experience
- Aerospace or Boeing-specific experience
- Strategy consulting or internal strategy experience
- Sales experience
