Your role at Dynatrace
The Center of Excellence team is responsible for increasing the ability to scale platform expertise across the entire Dynatrace ONE function (Post Sales organization at Dynatrace). Focused on topics that drive Dynatrace value, adoption and retention with customers, the Center of Excellence acts as a point of contact for Dynatrace ONE for specialized customer engagements, proliferation of best practices and driving of key enablement activities. The Center of Excellence engages in cross-functional collaborative activities to ensure that all departments within Dynatrace ONE have the right tools and knowledge at their disposal to further drive customer success.
As a Lead Architect in the Center of Excellence team, you take on a technical leadership role as a scaling agent of expertise. You will play a pivotal role in driving growth and success with our customer's usage of Dynatrace within a specific area including (but not limited to) logs, security, developer observability, business analytics and digital experience management. You ensure adoption and customer success through working with customers alongside other Dynatrace ONE members, through knowledge transfer and best practices documentation, and through enablement activities. You own all aspects of a mission critical topic, and are seen as a Subject Matter Expert where you define best practices together with stakeholders to scale specialized expertise within Dynatrace ONE. You provide best practices to the rest of the CoE and define technical standards for technical design and provide operating standards that allow the proper tracking of success of the CoE.
What will help you succeed
Collaborate with stakeholders within Dynatrace ONE, Product Management and other technical teams
• Act as a PoC for non-CoE stakeholders
• Provide Subject Matter Expertise on mission critical topics
• Topic ownership, creation of required deliverables for scaling this expertise and driving asset creation
• Develop, document and promote best practices, reference models and solution methodologies for use across Dynatrace ONE
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship within Dynatrace ONE, supporting skill development and knowledge sharing
• Assess and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance customer engagement
• Lead or support customer engagements and pilots together with an existing customer account team
• Support scaling of expertise to broader Dynatrace ONE teams
• Contribute to thought leadership assets and activities • Technical leadership - the Lead CoE architect is expected to provide technical leadership to a team of experts
• Solution Ownership - design, implement and uphold best practices on CoE solutions and coordinate the efficient collaboration with the individual contributors, as well as communicate and align with the Product Sponsors on vision and roadmap
Requirements:
• Technical degree (i.e. Computer Science, Computer Engineering) or relevant work experience required
• 5+ years proven experience as a consultant or architect working on highly technical, agile teams
• 5+ years proven experience actively leveraging the Dynatrace Platform, or similar technology (e.g.: Datadog, Splunk), as an end-user or as an administrator/implementor
• Experience with modern deployment automation tools, scripting, and methods
• Experience with the enterprise software sales process preferred
• Working experience with modern IaaS, PaaS, container and Serverless cloud technologies
• Working experience with cloud-native application design
• Working experience with modern software engineering processes
• Must have excellent written, oral, and presentation communications skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience developing and promoting best practices, methodologies and governance frameworks
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, engaging peers and other departments to accomplish assigned goals, and effectively execute projects in a matrix environment.
• Able to formulate program strategies by evaluating options with a clear sense of priorities and risks. Manage information from multiple parallel work streams and integrate them to form an overall view
• Outstanding at presenting solutions to audiences ranging from the developers to C-level executives
• While this is not a traveling role, must be willing to travel up to 25%
• Dynatrace certified Associate

Management Responsibilities:
• This role does not have any direct reports.
• Responsible for evaluating candidates in the recruiting process and contributing to the onboarding and enablement of new resources.
