Join our dynamic North American Channel Sales Organization at Mimecast, a leading Human Risk Management cybersecurity company. We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Channel Solutions Engineer to lead technical strategy, drive scalable partner enablement programs, and foster a thriving technical community across our partner ecosystem. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage complex programs at scale. Regular travel throughout North America is expected.

What You’ll Do:

  • Technical Strategy & Leadership:
    • Develop and execute technical strategies aligning Mimecast solutions with partner goals.
    • Act as a trusted technical advisor to strategic partners, guiding solution positioning, deployment, and integration.
    • Build a strong personal brand as a thought leader in the cybersecurity industry.
  • Program Ownership & Enablement:
    • Lead the Mavericks Program, fostering a community of influential cybersecurity experts among partners.
    • Design and deliver technical webinars on demonstrations, POCs, and solutioning.
    • Drive partner-focused communications, including technical newsletters and enablement programs.
  • Event Strategy & Execution:
    • Represent Mimecast at key partner and industry events, such as Blackhat, RSA, and Partner Kickoffs.
    • Deliver impactful technical presentations and foster collaboration at these events.
  • Partner Relationship Management:
    • Build trust-based relationships with partner stakeholders, aligning Mimecast solutions with their business objectives.
    • Provide technical troubleshooting and strategic guidance to ensure partner satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with sales, marketing, product, engineering, and support teams to drive partner success.
    • Provide actionable feedback to internal teams to enhance Mimecast solutions.
  • Project & Program Management:
    • Manage multiple initiatives and scalable programs with partners using structured project management methodologies.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of cybersecurity, email technologies, Microsoft 365, and complementary solutions like CrowdStrike, Netskope, and OKTA.
  • Channel Ecosystem Knowledge: Strong understanding of partner business models, sales motions, and incentive structures.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience: Proven experience in sales engineering or technical support, preferably in cybersecurity or SaaS.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel regularly across North America.

The US base salary range for this position is $100,000- $160,000 base + benefits. This reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. This position may also be eligible for incentive plans and other related benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. These factors and individual capabilities will also determine the individual pay offered.
