Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software test issues in optical communication products.
  • Drive test yield improvements and reduce test time through innovative strategies.
  • Provide fault isolation guidance and support for technicians in troubleshooting efforts.
  • Produce detailed documentation and communicate findings to team members and leadership.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment while balancing production needs with continuous improvement.
  • Interface with various stakeholders, including technicians and senior management, in a professional manner.
  • Modify existing software to enhance cycle time, quality, and reliability of tests.
  • Utilize statistical tools and methodologies to support process yield improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • BS degree in a science or engineering discipline
  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience in optical or semiconductor domains
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and knowledge of analog/digital electronics
  • Experience with SQL and statistical tools (JMP/JSL preferred)
  • Ability to modify and read object-oriented code (Java, C#, VB.NET, etc.)

Nice-To-Have:

  • 2+ years in semiconductor, optoelectronic, or related manufacturing
  • Experience with automation of electrical/optical test equipment (attenuators, switches, etc.)
  • Experience supporting international contract manufacturers
  • Familiarity with basic statistics and Gauge R&R, SPC
  • Experience with test/measurement interfaces (USB, GPIB, TCP/IP, SPI, COM)
