The Staff Accountant is responsible for cash reconciliations, managing prepaid accounts, resolving discrepancies, and supporting audits, requiring strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Job Summary & Responsibilities
This Staff Accountant role is responsible for performing accurate and timely reconciliation of cash and prepaid accounts, along with additional accounting duties as capacity This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical and investigative skills to identify and resolve discrepancies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Treasury and other accounting teams. Strong communication skills are essential, as this position involves frequent interaction with cross-functional partners to research and resolve accounting differences.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple cash accounts.
- Prepare and maintain detailed schedules for prepaid expenses.
- Reconcile prepaid balances and ensure accuracy of related supporting documentation.
- Investigate and resolve reconciling items, discrepancies, and variances in a timely manner.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of close deliverables.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documents.
- Other job duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business with an accounting emphasis.
- 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience, GAAP knowledge preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
- Self‑motivated and result-driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office suite; experience with IFS and Blackline preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with others in a team environment.
Work environment:
- Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment.
- Exposure to computer screens.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

Pay Range$35.00 - 43.00 per hour
