JOB DESCRIPTION

The FOX Business and Data Platform Team is looking for a data-driven and results-oriented BI Engineer to join the BI Analytics team. This role will be integral in designing and developing key BI deliverables providing insights to drive data-driven decisions across several business functions. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop dashboards and analytics products with a product mindset leveraging Tableau.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business teams and data engineering teams on designing joint solutions.
  • Leverage coding standards and conduct code reviews to ensure standardization.
  • Engage with Data Architects and Data Domain leads to create high level and detailed designs.
  • Deliver high data-quality on dashboards/analytics products and perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot data issues.
  • Translate business requirements into technical design and effective visualizations.
  • Enable self-service analytics capabilities for users to seamlessly interact with the data and develop insights.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Education: Bachelor’s in engineering, or Management or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: Senior BI Developer: 4+ Years of experience in Business Intelligence development and design, preferably using Tableau.
  • Experience in building data warehouses in Redshift, Snowflake, or Data Bricks.
  • Expertise in Advanced SQL programming and SQL Performance Tuning.
  • Experience with various kinds of data visualization techniques.
  • Expert level understanding of dimensional modeling techniques.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, logical and problem-solving skills with critical thinking.
