Lead product strategy and roadmap for Airbnb’s employee-facing digital experience (One Airbnb, Chrome Tab, Awedience). Prioritize requests, partner with engineering, design, and data science to ship AI-enabled features, set measurable OKRs, drive adoption, and align cross-functional stakeholders across EX, BizTech, and platform teams.
The summary above was generated by AI

Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way.

The Community You Will Join

The Airfam Products team empowers every Airbnb employee to access company information with ease, feel more connected to their colleagues, and experience a culture of belonging. We are the team behind Airbnb's internal digital headquarters — building the products that serve as the front door to company knowledge, community, and productivity for Airbnb's entire global workforce.

The Difference You Will Make

As the Product Manager for Airfam Products, you will own the strategic direction of Airbnb's employee-facing digital experience layer — a portfolio that touches every single employee every single day. You will set the product vision across One Airbnb, Chrome Tab, and Awedience, driving outcomes at the intersection of employee experience, AI-powered productivity, and organizational knowledge.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role. You will operate as the primary product voice for a domain that spans intranet, browser productivity, and internal events — partnering with EX, BizTech leadership, and platform teams to make deliberate, defensible decisions about what the team builds, when, and why.

A Typical Day

  • Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and multi-horizon roadmap across One Airbnb, Chrome Tab, and Awedience
  • Lead prioritization across a broad inbound request landscape, making clear, well-reasoned calls on what to build and what to decline
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and data science to ship high-quality features that improve employee productivity and connection
  • Build alignment across cross-functional stakeholders including EX, Ground Control, Content Products, Collaboration Products, and BizTech leadership
  • Evaluate new product opportunities and bring forward proposals — build, buy, or partner — for expanding employee experience capabilities
  • Define goals and success through clearly measurable objectives and key results
  • Integrate AI thoughtfully into the product roadmap, partnering with engineering to shape how One Airbnb evolves as an AI-powered employee experience
  • Analyze product performance and use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement and adoption

Your Expertise

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years owning a platform or multi-surface product portfolio
  • Proven track record of setting product direction independently and delivering results in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong prioritization instincts — comfortable making hard calls, managing stakeholder expectations, and holding the line on scope
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills; able to build consensus among a diverse, senior stakeholder set without escalating to management for cover
  • Experience working on internal tooling, employee experience, or enterprise productivity products is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to partner credibly with engineering on technical strategy and AI/platform investments
  • Deep cross-functional collaboration skills: harmonizes competing stakeholder needs, influences strategy, and drives clarity under ambiguity

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
