About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

The Experience

At Slack, we are making work simpler, more pleasant, and more productive.

We are seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to run our Growth pillar programs. Growth owns Slack's self-serve revenue funnel and runs numerous parallel experiments to drive ACV. This fast-moving, rapidly evolving, and high-stakes product area requires technical expertise, strong relationships. and the ability to bring structure to strategy, operations, execution, and scope while accelerating and aligning teams. The TPM will partner closely with teams of engineers, design, product management, as well as bridging the gap with cross-functional partners and senior leaders.

This TPM must be highly technical and understand software architecture so that they can represent Product and Engineering in cross functional conversations as a domain/subject matter expert.

The TPM should embrace the benefits of moving quickly and enjoy teaming up with partners to solve hard problems. They turn cross-functional complexity into decisions. They align partners around a clear path grounded in the business drivers, and they stay accountable for delivery and results. They thrive when given the chance to design systems and processes that facilitate efficient collaboration and execution.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing:
  • Be a strategic partner to senior product, design, and engineering leadership. Become a strong influencer with credibility with peers and stakeholders, capable of building productive, trusting relationships with partners.
  • Run the experiment portfolio, inclusive of velocity reporting, collision checks, launch tracking, and quality. Be a strategic partner with Data Science and Business Operations to improve the experiment process.
  • Drive feature programs such as global expansion and Slackbot-infused initiatives to improve onboarding and invites
  • Own quarterly and monthly planning exercises and process, including exec reviews and roadmap alignment between marketing and product, design, and engineering.
  • Quickly become a domain expert in your space with the ability to articulate how the engineering systems works, process flows, and can quickly recognize dependencies and anticipate and mitigate risks. You understand the product end-to-end, identify dependencies and gaps, and recommend implementations with clear evaluation criteria.
  • Understand the product and problem space beyond the orchestration layer, including customer need, engineering work, and technical architecture. Form your own point of view on the product and roadmap, grounded in the cross-functional team's business drivers and metrics, and influence strategy from the start
  • Transform high-level goals into a logical set of projects
  • Develop, roll out, and improve operational strategies, tools, and processes such as weekly business reviews, impact metric views (in partnership with data science), and executive alignment. Challenge conventional practice and go beyond the stated requirement, building new agentic mechanisms (e.g., AI-assisted tracking, automated status, and risk reporting) that scale operations
  • Build and maintain timelines, project plans, and communication artifacts to ensure everyone is operating from the most recent and accurate information
  • Run program fundamentals (schedule, risks, communications) proactively, with risks and mitigation strategies in place
  • Track end-to-end projects against the committed dates and release schedule

You’re Our Person If...:
  • 8+ years across Technical Program Management, engineering, and/or growth roles, including leading end-to-end technical programs within dynamic product or engineering organizations.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical technical experience.
  • Agile & Lean Mastery: Applied experience with Agile and Lean product development practices.
  • Mentorship: Raises the bar for other Technical Program Managers by mentoring them and by sharing tools, skills, and practices that others adopt.

Technical & AI Capabilities

  • Builder & Automation: Has built tools that replaced their own manual work, such as scripts, SQL dashboards, AI agents and skills (e.g., Claude, Slackbot), or pull requests to internal repos, and can demo them. Evaluates AI output for quality and data handling. Prompt engineering is table stakes.
  • Technical Depth: Sufficient technical grounding to converse credibly with engineers, scope technical projects, and identify architectural risks.
  • Data-Driven Execution: Proven ability to use quantitative metrics and signals to prioritize work, measure impact, assess risk, and document decisions for organizational reuse.

Program Execution & Strategic Alignment

  • Navigating Ambiguity: Proven ability to establish structure, define workflows, and drive momentum when strategy and scope are fluid. Knows when to go manual now and automate later, and breaks ambiguous tasks into milestones with explicit accuracy bars and explicit deferrals.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Experience leading complex programs that bring together multi-disciplinary teams with differing workflows and competing priorities.
  • Enterprise & Executive Presence: Direct experience supporting enterprise deals, including executive briefings and customer-facing communication.
  • Process Optimization: History of identifying operational bottlenecks and delivering high-value process and automation improvements.

Even Better If...:
  • Hands-on experience with growth product programs. Examples are self-serve funnels, onboarding, activation, invites and viral loops, pricing and packaging, or monetization.
  • Experience running or supporting an experimentation program. This includes A/B testing platforms, experiment velocity and quality, and collision management. You should also be comfortable reading results with Data Science, such as statistical significance, guardrail metrics, and ACV or conversion impact.
  • Familiarity with a PLG or self-serve SaaS business model and the metrics behind it, such as conversion, expansion, and retention.
