The Strategy & Operations Manager will work cross functionally within our group and across Thatch to drive and enable the growth of Operations. You will lead mission critical, cross-functional efforts, deliver objective analysis and insights, incubate new roles, and execute on strategic initiatives. You may design new business systems and processes to scale our group, develop operations strategy, help us build and launch new processes, or unlock new opportunities for efficiency.
This is a high-impact role working across Servicing, Carrier Enrollments,and general Operations, to help us scale what’s working – and fix what’s not. If you love bringing clarity to chaos, diving into Operations data, and partnering closely with a growing Operations team, this role is for you.
- Drive the operating model for Operations to enable the org including: Annual planning, OKR process, partner health, partner segmentation, partner plans, etc.
- Serve as a direct report to the Chief of Finance and Head of Operations, facilitating the alignment of business critical initiatives and enhancing operational excellence
- Manage and optimize Operations data sources to ensure data integrity, usability, and alignment with Operations workflows
- Own Operations reporting and analytics, delivering actionable insights to support company growth
- Collaborate with leadership to identify and address inefficiencies in the Operations process
- Support Operations forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic planning
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Product and other teams to ensure alignment on goals and processes
- Contribute to scaling the Operations team effectively by designing processes and tools that grow with the organization
- 3-5 years of experience in an Operations, Sales Operations, or similar role at a high-growth SaaS company
- Skilled at tackling ambiguous problems and defining and executing strategies that clarify the problem statement, drive alignment and deliver quantifiable business impact and for Thatch’s customers
- Strong agency, can handle ambiguity in a fast-moving organization, and thrives on a high level of autonomy and responsibility
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
- A collaborative mindset, eager to partner with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making
- Proven ability to identify and drive process improvements in a sales environment
- Excellent organizational skills, with a knack for managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Early stage startup experience (Series A/B funding)
- Experience with SQL or a willingness/aptitude to learn
- Leadership experience
