About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Salesforce is seeking a Talent Intelligence Data Analyst Intern to join our Workforce Intelligence team. In this role, you will be at the heart of driving impactful research and delivering actionable insights that help shape our organizational strategies.

While you will sit within the Workforce Intelligence team, you will be dedicated to our Agentic Talent Function. This is a unique opportunity to help us "agentify" our workforce—exploring the synergy between AI agents and human talent to enhance the employee experience and drive customer success. You will use your analytical skills to provide data-driven recommendations that inform and elevate our agentic talent strategies, helping us measure the unique value and innovation created when human ingenuity meets agentic capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Impact Reporting: Assist in designing and building "Impact Reports" that showcase the effectiveness of the Agentic Talent function. You will translate raw data into compelling visualizations that tell a story of how human-agent collaboration is impacting the business.
  • Success Measures Support: Support the evolution of success measure models for the broader Talent org. This includes assisting in the tracking of V2MOM (Vision, Values, Methods, Obstacles, and Measures) goals through data consolidation and processing.
  • Data Consulting & Literacy: Act as a junior data consultant for Talent program managers, helping them interpret complex metrics and playing an active role in increasing data literacy across the team.
  • Data Integrity & Collection: Assist in gathering, validating, and maintaining workforce data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency to support reliable analysis and reporting.
  • Research & Documentation: Support research initiatives in partnership with the Workforce Intelligence team. You will be responsible for maintaining clear process documentation and researching emerging trends in AI-driven workforce analytics.
  • Data Framework Optimization: Actively research and suggest ways to automate manual data tasks—"agentifying" our own internal operations by identifying opportunities for automation and AI integration.

Requirements for Success

  • Educational Pursuit: Currently pursuing an Undergraduate degree in a quantitative or research-oriented field (e.g., Data Science, I/O Psychology, Business Analytics, or Computer Science). Class of May 2027
  • AI & Agentic Curiosity: A strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and how "agentic" workflows can transform traditional talent functions.
  • Technical Foundation: Experience cleaning and organizing data (e.g., merging data sets, pivot tables). Familiarity with SQL, Python, or R is a plus.
  • Data Visualization: Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, CRM Analytics) to simplify complex information into "scannable" insights.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal skills to simplify complex data and influence stakeholders through storytelling.
  • Analytical Thinking: A "systems-thinking" mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for process and system improvements through a data-driven lens.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Ability to partner with colleagues across Talent Acquisition and HR Technology, contributing to a culture of knowledge-sharing in our human-agent ecosystem.
  • Why Join Us? This internship offers a front-row seat to the future of Talent Intelligence in the agentic era. You will gain hands-on experience in "agentifying" talent and learn how the world's #1 AI CRM uses workforce intelligence to drive global strategy.

Summer 2026 Internship Dates:
GROUP 1: May 18 - Aug 7th
GROUP 2: June 1 - Aug 21st
GROUP 3: June 15 - Sep 4th
This position is ineligible for visa sponsorship. This posting will close on Feb 23, 2026.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
