T-Mobile is synonymous with innovation–and you could be part of the team that disrupted an entire industry! We reinvented customer service, brought real 5G to the nation, and now we’re shaping the future of technology in wireless and beyond. Our work is as exciting as it is rewarding, so consider the career opportunity below as your invitation to grow with us, make big things happen with us, above all, #BEYOU with us. Together, we won’t stop!

Get hands-on experience, training—and a leg up on a bright future.

T-Mobile didn’t become a leader by following the playbook. We got here by breaking it. We’re a disruptor that now plays on a higher tier, and we’re still raising the bar for millions of customers nationwide. If you want to work somewhere that sets the standard instead of matching it, this is your place.
This is an 11-week paid learning experience where you’ll do real work, not busywork. You’ll build relationships with other interns and leaders across the company, and you’ll be paired with mentors who will challenge you to grow skills that matter. We’ll give you hands-on projects with real stakes, and we expect your creativity and sharp ideas to make an immediate impact. You’ll work alongside T-Mobile employees who have your back and who still believe the best ideas can come from anyone.

What It’s Like

You’ll join a centralized digital marketing team that supports all three brands of T-Mobile Advertising Solutions: T-Mobile, Blis, and Vistar Media. The team is small enough that your work gets seen and big enough that it moves the business. The pace is fast. A typical week might include drafting social posts, building an email nurture sequence, researching keywords for a new blog, and reviewing campaign data with teammates. You’ll partner closely with regional marketing leads and the product marketing team.

What You’ll Do

You’ll support live marketing campaigns across social media, email, the website, and blog content. Our team brings in net new leads and engages existing customers to drive incremental revenue. Your work will help keep the T-Mobile Advertising Solutions brands visible, consistent, and ahead of the competition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow our social media presence by drafting posts, following relevant accounts, and engaging with the community
  • Support email marketing by drafting email communications, updating nurture workflows, and building drip campaigns
  • Increase organic search ranking by conducting keyword research, writing net new blog posts, and optimizing existing ones
  • Keep the website accurate and on-brand by updating content across the three brands
  • Measure what’s working by analyzing campaign data, building performance reports, and recommending optimization tactics with your teammates

What It Takes

  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Experience with a marketing automation platform (such as HubSpot or Marketo), Google Analytics, or Salesforce is a plus
  • Curiosity to challenge assumptions and ask why a campaign works (or doesn’t)
  • A sense of urgency, a team-first attitude, and the confidence to share your ideas

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future
  • Must have one or more course(s) remaining in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program post internship
  • Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for external Summer Internships, please see Magenta Accelerator if interested

Relocation assistance will be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.

Intern wages range from $27/hour to $50/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on education/STEM vs non-STEM designation.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
