About the Role

Worldly is seeking a Sustainability Solutions Intern to join the Sustainability team for a 10-week Summer 2026 internship (June 8 – August 14).

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to two core initiatives simultaneously: supporting the development of Worldly’s corporate decarbonization strategy and helping improve a demo environment used to showcase the company’s sustainability capabilities.

The intern will gain hands-on experience with ESG strategy, sustainability data, and narrative development, working closely with the sustainability team to analyze data, build insights, and translate complex information into compelling stories that demonstrate the impact of Worldly’s platform.

This role is ideal for someone interested in corporate sustainability, ESG strategy, and data-driven storytelling, who is excited to work on real-world sustainability challenges within a mission-driven technology company.

What You'll Do

Projects and scope of work may include:

Decarbonization Strategy Project
  • Support the development of Worldly’s corporate decarbonization strategy

  • Analyze sustainability data and research best practices in corporate climate strategy

  • Help structure insights and recommendations that inform internal sustainability initiatives

  • Translate technical sustainability concepts into clear narratives and documentation

Demo Environment Project
  • Work with demo environment datasets to ensure data is functioning properly for demonstration purposes

  • Manipulate and organize data to support demo scenarios and project goals

  • Help create compelling narratives and storytelling elements within the demo environment

  • Identify opportunities to improve how sustainability insights are communicated through demos

Cross-Project Collaboration
  • Balance work across two concurrent projects over the course of the internship

  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine outputs

  • Present progress and insights to the sustainability team

We’d Like To See
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in sustainability, environmental science, data science, or a related field

  • Junior or senior undergraduate standing at minimum, or graduate-level education

  • Strong interest in corporate sustainability, climate strategy, and ESG

  • Experience with data manipulation or analysis

  • Familiarity with AI tools or data-processing tools

  • Ability to translate complex information into clear narratives or insights

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

Nice to Have
  • Background in environmental science or sustainability

  • Experience studying data science or analytics

  • Experience using AI tools to support data analysis or workflow automation

  • Interest in sustainability communications or storytelling

Compensation & Work Setup
  • Compensation: $20/hour

  • Duration: Full-time, June 8, 2026 – August 14, 2026

  • Location: US - Remote (location restrictions apply)

  • Technology Stipend: Interns will receive a $100/month stipend to subsidize technology/internet costs. Interns must provide their own laptops.
