The Boeing Company is looking for a System Design and Integration Specialist (Senior or Lead) to join the team in Everett, WA; Hazelwood, MO; Dallas, TX; Richardson, TX; Plano, TX; Annapolis Junction, MD; Seal Beach, CA; or Mesa, AZ.

You will join the Infrastructure Technology and Operations organization supporting the Network Infrastructure Services and Data Center team.

In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and deliver complex network programs, including Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN) projects, connectivity, migrations, upgrades, and integrations. You will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, network engineering and architecture, security teams, vendors, and operations to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, success criteria and acceptance with stakeholders

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations and budgets, track progress and report status to leadership

  • Lead cross-functional technical teams (network engineers, security, cloud, data center, applications, operations) and external vendors through design, build, testing, cutover and hand over

  • Organize and facilitate technical design reviews, pre-production testing, pilot deployments and User Acceptance

  • Create and own detailed cutover/runbook and rollback plans; coordinate communications and change control processes

  • Identify, track and mitigate risks and issues; escalate as required

  • Manage Vendor SOW (Statement of Work), facility requirements, performance and escalations

  • Enforce delivery SLAs (Service Level Agreements)

  • Lead post-implementation reviews, capture lessons learned and implement continuous improvement

  • Communicate across multiple teams, organizations, and leaders to effectively articulate business goals and objectives

  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory and corporate policies during project lifecycle

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with Design, Implementation and Troubleshooting of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)

  • 5+ years of experience with designing and implementing large scale network architectures, including complex routing and switching configurations

  • 5+ years of experience leading and partnering with cross-functional teams, involving key stakeholder relationship management

  • 5+ years of experience translating business requirements into technical specifications

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience with problem-solving, including diagnosing and resolving complex network issues

  • Experience with written and verbal communication to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Experience with maintaining thorough documentation, and implementing repeatable processes

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Senior: $115,600 – $167,900

Summary pay range for Lead: $144,500 – $209,300
