About the Role

The Talent Acquisition Enablement Manager reports directly to the Head of Talent Acquisition at Abnormal AI, and is responsible for enhancing the effectiveness of our recruiting and hiring teams. This individual contributor role is pivotal in driving operational excellence by equipping teams with the tools, training, and resources necessary to optimize the hiring process.

This role will play a critical part in integrating AI-native workflows into the recruiter toolkit—helping the team evolve how they source, assess, and engage talent. The ideal candidate will embrace emerging technologies and ensure that AI is not just a concept but a core lever in our day-to-day recruiting execution.

You’ll partner closely with recruiting leadership to support career development and succession planning across the team, ensuring continuous growth through training, coaching, and up-skilling. We're looking for a strategic thinker who can operationalize excellence, deliver impactful training, drive adoption of modern tools (especially AI-based ones), and ensure a culture of accountability and learning across the recruiting org.

What You Will Do
  • Training, Onboarding & Enablement
Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs—including interview best practices, recruiting workflows, tools training, and AI-driven process education that modernizes how recruiters execute their work.
  • Cross-Functional Partnerships
Partner with members of Ops (Systems & Processes, Talent Programs) as well as cross-functional members of IT, Finance, GTM, and R&D to maximize the impact and efficiency of trainings.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Management
Manage and maintain an internal portal to centralize process documentation, playbooks, and tool guides. Ensure content is updated with evolving AI capabilities and accessible to all recruiters and hiring teams.
  • Stakeholder Support
Act as a strategic partner to recruiters, hiring managers, and business leaders by providing guidance on best practices, troubleshooting adoption challenges, and embedding AI-enhanced methods into team operations.
  • Presentation & Influence
Conduct engaging, compelling presentations and workshops to drive tool adoption, AI literacy, and optimal habits. Follow up with key stakeholders to ensure training translates into real-world usage and accountability.
  • Organize and Manage Enablement Projects, Programs, and Initiatives
Own the planning and execution of key enablement efforts—ensuring they are delivered on time, aligned to business priorities, and executed with excellence. Proactively identify risks and dependencies, and surface them to senior leadership to maintain momentum and impact.
  • Data-Driven Improvement
Leverage insights, feedback, and performance data to refine and iterate trainings. Identify opportunities where AI can accelerate productivity or unlock new value for the team.
  • Tailored Approach

Identify skill gaps and build personalized learning initiatives—particularly around upskilling recruiters to work confidently with AI-enabled systems and tools

Qualifications & Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in recruiting operations, talent enablement, or similar roles in fast-paced, tech-forward organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and influence recruiting teams with a strong command of AI and automation tools in the hiring process
  • Experience managing internal documentation portals or knowledge management systems
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels
  • Proactive project manager who can simplify complex systems and drive high-quality execution
  • Leadership presence and a clear ability to drive accountability, adoption, and sustained change across a distributed team

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
