Our platform supercharges productivity across meetings, messages, and email—so work gets done faster, smarter, and with better focus. We integrate seamlessly with tools like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Slack, and more, helping teams stay aligned whether they’re in the same room or across time zones.

Backed by $81M in funding from Smash Capital, Madrona, and Goodwater Capital, Read AI is building the future of AI-powered collaboration. We believe great AI products require clarity, trust, and craft—and design plays a foundational role in making that real.

The Role:

Read AI is looking for a Sourcer to help us build to top-of-funnel for our hiring engine. This is an early-career role with real ownership: you'll proactively identify, engage, and nurture candidates for some of our highest-priority roles, working closely with team members and hiring leaders across Software Engineering, Product, Design, and GTM.

You'll help build the sourcing and coordination processes that our growing Talent team runs on, not just execute against someone else's playbook. This role is designed as a launchpad: strong performance here puts you on a clear path toward a Recruiter role within 12–18 months.

What You'll Do:

Sourcing & Pipeline Generation

  • Proactively identify and engage ~100 qualified candidates per week across LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, and other channels.

  • Build and manage strong, personalized outreach that converts passive candidates into active pipeline.

  • Focus primary sourcing effort on Software Engineering roles, while flexing to support Product, Design, and GTM as needed.

Process & Coordination

  • Help build and document repeatable sourcing and coordination processes as the Talent team scales.

  • Support and help automate candidate and interview coordination to reduce manual overhead.

  • Keep Ashby (or equivalent ATS) clean, current, and easy for recruiters and hiring managers to act on.

Partnership & Representation

  • Build trusted relationships with hiring leaders across Software Engineering, Product, Design, and GTM to deeply understand hiring needs

  • Represent Read AI authentically in the broader talent community, building our reputation as a place top candidates want to work

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience (internship, agency, or early in-house) in sourcing, recruiting coordination, or a related talent function

  • Comfort and curiosity with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, or similar) and ATS platforms (Ashby or equivalent)

  • Strong written communication — able to write outreach that gets responses

  • A genuine interest in AI and how it's changing recruiting

  • High energy, coach-ability, and a growth mindset — eager to build toward a Recruiter role

Nice to Have:
  • Prior sourcing experience specifically for Engineering or technical roles

  • Experience supporting a fast-growing startup environment

  • Familiarity with Ashby specifically

  • Existing presence or activity in talent/recruiting communities

Why This Role Matters:

Every candidate this person finds and engages directly shapes who builds Read AI's product during our most important growth year yet. This isn't a support role, it's the front line of how Read AI wins great talent in a competitive market.

Why Read AI?
  • Innovative: We bring AI to the masses with proactive technology that acts as the ultimate AI assistant, making individuals and teams more effective

  • Real impact, fast — Your work directly drives Engineering's growth during a pivotal year

  • A genuine growth path — Clear track to Recruiter within 12–18 months for strong performers

  • Hybrid, flexible culture — In-office Tuesday–Thursday, flexible PTO

  • A great team — Work alongside people who care about doing this well and supporting each other

Compensation range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 plus equity. Actual total compensation will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience. We also offer low deductible health plans, as well as flexible time away and family leave programs.

Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
