ABOUT THE TEAM

The engineering team is responsible for all technology for Bestow and the Bestow Platform. We serve employees, consumers, and enterprise customers. In addition to building software, we integrate and manage many third-party products used by employees and as part of the platform. Our major functional teams are product engineering, infrastructure, IT, data and analytics, martech, and program management. Engineering works closely with product management and design to define and prioritize the product roadmap.

This role reports to our Manager, Technical Program Management and is open to Remote (US) #LI-Remote.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Bestow is looking for a Technical Program Manager to contribute in the following ways:

  • You seek to understand the details, you have a strong sense of ownership and urgency, and you are a natural at providing clear project updates in writing and meetings for all types of audiences.

  • You are an organized thinker who loves a good plan and creates organized artifacts to make project management easier for yourself and your stakeholders.

  • You encourage technical discussions to foster teamwork and gain insights into project risk and scope.

  • You can discuss critical technical issues and decisions and guide project teams through decisions on tradeoffs and timelines.

WHO YOU ARE
  • 3+ years of technical project management experience in software development

  • Experience facilitating the breakdown of technical and non-technical work into manageable tasks and deliverables

  • Experience leading large-scale company initiatives with multiple working teams

  • Experience with client-facing SaaS platform implementations

  • Ability to handle escalations with a high sense of urgency and ownership

  • Ability to implement processes and lead change

  • Ability to maintain an objective perspective to balance the often opposing needs of Product, Engineering, and stakeholders

  • You excel working in an independent work culture.

  • You want to bring your voice and experience to a mission-driven company in ways that help it expand.

  • Excellent communicator across all channels (interpersonal, written, and verbal)

  • You are a systems thinker who enjoys finding innovative ways to work.

  • Experience using Jira is a strong plus.
