Job Description:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working with the inspection, supply, and maintenance group to immediately resolve any discrepancies with the Technical Records;
- Working in conjunction with the inspection group to ensure compliance/sign-off on all historical cards is performed to required standards;
- Performing audits of technical logs and inspection forms received from field bases to ensure compliance and correct times before filing with the permanent records and reporting all deficiencies to the Chief Inspector or Assistant Director of Operations as they relate to Pilot errors;
- Identify repeat offenders of poor paperwork by maintenance personnel so additional schooling can be arranged or counseling can be performed;
- Notifying the Chief Inspector immediately when any time correction (addition) is noted that may cause potential over-flights;
- Ensuring that the Overhaul, installation, and removal data on each engine, accessory, instrument, component part and appliance on each aircraft are in accordance with the instructions outlined in detail in this manual;
- Performing assistance and entering times and/or time corrections when AMTs are using remote Ramco procedures and have no computer access;
- Providing vendors and management with needed reports to include PBH, AC status, etc;
- Being knowledgeable of company manuals and aircraft programs to ensure alertness when a required form is missing or entry incorrect; and
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Chief Inspector.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required;
- Excellent computer proficiency, specifically in terms of MS Word and MS Excel;
- Attention to detail and focus on task/responsibilities is essential;
- Proficiency in Ramco desired; and
- Ability to multi-task and provide results in a high paced environment.
