  • Define and maintain architecture standards, best practices, and reference designs for core business capabilities.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and tools to support current and future state architecture.
  • Own the technical design and architecture workstream on projects from discovery through deployment.
  • Work closely with business users in Supply Chain, Construction, and Procurement to understand processes, pain points, and requirements.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between business teams and technical/developer resources, ensuring mutual understanding of requirements, constraints, and timelines.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in clear, business-oriented language.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of construction and procurement workflows (e.g., bidding, contracts, change orders, RFIs, purchase orders, inventory, logistics).
  • Partner with enterprise application owners (i.e., ERP, project management, construction management) to ensure integrations, data flows, and security models are robust and scalable.
  • Contribute to and maintain system documentation, architecture diagrams, and knowledge base articles.
  • Participate in change management, including impact analysis, risk assessment, and communication for new or changed solutions.

Basic Qualifications

Education, Professional Certification, and Licenses:

  • Familiarity with integration technologies (e.g., REST APIs, webhooks, middleware, iPaaS).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt communication style to business users and technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to liaise between business users and technical or developer teams, gathering requirements, clarifying needs, and translating into actionable designs.
  • Background in project-based industries such as construction, engineering, or capital projects.
  • Prior experience working in a cross-functional environment with finance, operations, and IT stakeholders.
