About the Internship

QuickNode is looking for an enthusiastic Ethereum Technical Writing Intern to support the creation of high-quality guides, sample apps, and API documentation tailored to developers building on Ethereum. As an intern, you’ll work alongside experienced technical writers, engineers, and developer advocates to create content that helps onboard new developers and supports experienced builders using QuickNode’s infrastructure.

This internship is ideal for students or early-career professionals passionate about Ethereum and Web3 who want hands-on experience creating developer-facing content.

Project Scope
  • Research and write 2–4 instructional guides focused on Ethereum development (e.g., creating and deploying smart contracts using Solidity and Hardhat, or integrating QuickNode APIs with Ethereum data).

  • Build a sample Ethereum-based dApp with accompanying technical walkthrough to showcase implementation best practices.

  • Review and update existing QuickNode documentation pages to ensure they remain technically accurate.

  • Participate in internal content reviews, collaborating with full-time writers and engineers to enhance technical accuracy and content clarity.

  • Present your contributions to the team, demonstrating your work and sharing insights from your development process.

Pre-Requisites
  • A foundational understanding of Ethereum, smart contracts, and EVM-based development.

  • Strong proficiency with at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or Solidity).

  • Clear written communication skills and a passion for breaking down complex topics for technical audiences.

  • An academic background or work experience in Computer Science, Technical Writing, Engineering, or related fields (Bachelor’s or currently enrolled).

Bonus/Preferred
  • Previous experience contributing to developer blogs, personal projects, or open-source documentation is a plus.

  • Previous startup, consulting, or VC experience

  • Basic understanding of crypto/blockchain infrastructure (nodes, APIs, wallets, etc.)

Learning Outcomes
  • Gain real-world experience writing developer documentation for a leading Web3 infrastructure provider.

  • Build technical content portfolios, including Ethereum guides and tutorials that will be published on the QuickNode website.

  • Strengthen your understanding of Ethereum development tools, smart contracts, and APIs.

  • Improve your ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly and effectively.

  • Learn best practices in documentation workflows, content review, and developer experience (DX) standards.

Logistics
  • Internship Length: August 4 - October 31st

  • Compensation: Paid internship (based on experience & program)

  • Remote-first: Collaboration in US time zone preferred

  • Networking & Mentorship: Direct exposure to senior leadership, and access to product, support, and Content teams

  • Reports to: Sr. Technical Content Manager
