Job Title: Treasury Director

Basic Function : We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Treasury Director to oversee the organization’s cash management, liquidity planning, cash disbursements, and overall payment operations to ensure strong financial control and stability. This role leads treasury operations, optimizes banking and system strategies, and manages financial risk while partnering with senior leadership to support long‑term strategic objectives. The ideal candidate drives process improvements, enhances payment controls, and guides a high‑performing treasury team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the company’s payment strategy, including automation, payment method optimization, and digital disbursement initiatives.
  • Evaluate and implement modern payment technologies such as treasury management systems, APIs, and real‑time payments.
  • Provide treasury leadership for M&A, integrations, treasury system upgrades, and major commercial agreements.
  • Maintain and enhance treasury policies, SOX controls, fraud prevention protocols, and payment governance frameworks.
  • Oversee daily cash positioning, bank balances, and short‑ and long‑term cash flow forecasting.
  • Ensure sufficient liquidity to support operating needs, capital investments, and strategic priorities.
  • Direct end‑to‑end payment operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and strong internal controls.
  • Lead corporate cash disbursement activities, including payment scheduling, funding strategies, and payment run approvals. Oversee execution of ACH, wire, and check payments.
  • Manage bank account structures, signatories, and user access to ensure secure cash movement.
  • Manage and strengthen banking relationships, including service levels, pricing, and technology capabilities.
  • Conduct banking fee analysis and ensure optimal services, pricing, and credit capacity.
  • Partner with AP, Procurement, and business units to improve vendor payment processes and payment accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, and business units on initiatives impacting cash and payments.
  • Present cash, liquidity, disbursement performance, and risk insights to senior leadership.
  • Monitor and mitigate financial risks, including FX, interest rate, and counterparty exposure.
  • Support execution of hedging strategies in partnership with Finance and Capital Markets leadership.
  • Assist in managing corporate borrowing facilities, covenant compliance, and reporting.
  • Support capital markets transactions, including refinancing, or debt issuances.
  • Manage relationships with rating agencies, lenders, and external advisors when applicable.
  • Lead and develop the treasury team, providing guidance and support.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive treasury or finance experience, including leadership of cash operations and payment processes.
  • Strong experience in cash management, liquidity planning, and financial risk management.
  • Proficiency with treasury management systems (TMS), payment platforms, and banking technologies.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high‑performing teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP system.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and experience with process optimization.

Location: San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego, CA, or Denver, CO. Hybrid.

  • The position may require up to 10% domestic travel.

Base Pay - $190,000 - $220,000

The pay range mentioned above is a guideline. We tailor each offer based on your unique skills, experience, location, and market benchmarks—while ensuring internal parity across our teams. In addition to competitive base pay, total compensation may include a discretionary annual bonus and a market leading comprehensive health and wellness benefits package. Final details will be discussed during the later stages of the hiring process.
