This is a hybrid position that has the minimum expectation to work out of our Downtown Seattle Office two days per week on Mondays and Thursdays. For this reason, candidates must be based in the Greater Seattle Area or willing to relocate.
Who we're looking for:
We are seeking a Treasury Manager who will be responsible for global cash management, liquidity, investments, and corporate insurance, as well as overseeing related treasury policies, processes, and technology solutions. This role will report directly to the VP of Accounting.
We are looking for someone detail-oriented and motivated to continue developing their career in Treasury. The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver with a strong ownership mindset. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams as well as Rover’s external banking and service partners. This highly visible role is critical to maintaining continued financial stability and optimizing Rover’s working capital while providing adequate liquidity to support business operations and M&A.

Your Responsibilities:
- Lead all things commercial banking at Rover - including opening, closing, and maintaining global bank accounts and services and related strategy, including bank access reviews and managing authorized signers and bank portal users.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly closing requirements, including statement of cash flow
- Develop and implement cash management strategies to optimize liquidity and working capital in compliance with corporate policies
- Manage foreign currency exposure by developing strategies to mitigate risk, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, and optimizing currency exchange processes to support global operations
- Debt reporting and compliance
- Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, and Tax on cash forecasting, liquidity planning, and financial reporting
- Work closely with our investment portfolio manager, ensuring alignment with policy and financial objectives
- Lead inter-company activities, including the collaboration with Legal and Tax on strategies for legal entity funding/repatriation and capital structure especially during periods of organizational change.
Your Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in corporate treasury; public company experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience transforming cash and investment management in a global organization
- Strong financial analysis skills, knowledge of financial instruments, proficiency in investment scenario analysis, and proficiency i treasury technology
- Comfort with ambiguity and able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while embracing change and solving problems
- Ability to execute and deliver quality results, including managing projects, developing strategy, working collaboratively, influencing senior leaders, and distilling complex ideas into clear communication
- Familiarity with banking and financial market
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in treasury operations
- CFA, CTP, or MBA is a plus

Compensation:
- In the greater Seattle area the first year salary range is $118,476 - $152,686. Additionally, Rover offers a long-term incentive plan with a company performance-based cash payout and benefits to full-time employees.
- The cash compensation offered for this role will be dependent on the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills and abilities as demonstrated in the interview and hiring process.
