We are a rapidly growing team, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and committed to improving the healthcare experience through cutting-edge software. Our serverless platform, built using Vercel, Next.js, Prisma, and PlanetScale, is designed to scale and evolve, and we need your help to ensure it meets the needs of our users.

We are expanding our design team and are now looking for an innovative and skilled UX Researcher to join our team. If you're passionate about understanding user needs, analyzing data, and shaping the future of Telehealth, we’d love to hear from you!

Role and Responsibilities

As the UX Researcher at Bask, you will be the voice of the user. Your insights will guide the design and development of our Telehealth platform, ensuring that it delivers a seamless, intuitive, and delightful experience for all users. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and developers, to ensure that our product meets the evolving needs of our users.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Conducting user research to gain deep insights into the needs, behaviors, and pain points of our target users, including Telehealth providers and patients.
  • Designing and conducting both qualitative and quantitative research methods (interviews, surveys, usability tests, A/B testing, etc.) to gather meaningful data.
  • Analyzing user feedback, synthesizing findings, and presenting actionable insights to inform design decisions and product improvements.
  • Collaborating with the UX/UI design team to ensure research insights are integrated into the product design process.
  • Reviewing designs and prototypes to ensure they align with user needs and research findings.
  • Creating user personas, journey maps, and other user-centered artifacts to communicate research findings to stakeholders.
  • Identifying key areas for research within the product development cycle, prioritizing research initiatives to maximize impact.
  • Continuously monitoring and evaluating the user experience, suggesting improvements, and validating design iterations.
  • Staying current with industry trends, methodologies, and technologies in UX research and user experience design.

Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a UX Researcher, User Researcher, or a similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing successful research projects.
  • Experience with a variety of user research methods, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and ethnographic research.
  • Proficiency with research tools such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Lookback, or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to translate research findings into tangible product recommendations.
  • Experience reviewing designs and prototypes to ensure alignment with user needs and research findings.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present research findings to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • A collaborative mindset with experience working in an agile, cross-disciplinary team environment.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional user experiences in the fast-paced world of Telehealth.
