Position Summary

 

As Vice President, Global Marketing, you'll have the opportunity to shape what's next for one of the most respected brands in test and measurement. Reporting to the Chief Product & Marketing Officer, you'll define and execute the marketing strategy, lead a talented global team, and partner across Product, Sales, and Engineering to strengthen the Tektronix brand and drive commercial growth across highly technical markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the global marketing strategy aligned with business priorities and growth objectives.
  • Lead and develop a global marketing organization spanning Brand & Communications, Digital Marketing & MarTech, Commercial Enablement, and Regional Marketing across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
  • Strengthen Tektronix's brand, market positioning, and customer engagement across global technical markets.
  • Drive demand generation, pipeline growth, and measurable business outcomes through data-driven marketing strategies.
  • Own the global marketing budget and optimize investments to maximize business impact.
  • Advance digital marketing, marketing operations, analytics, and customer engagement capabilities.
  • Partner closely with Product, Sales, Engineering, and regional leaders to align strategy and go-to-market execution.
  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative marketing organization through coaching, talent development, and continuous improvement.
  • Leverage data and performance metrics to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous improvement, and leadership development.

 

 

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including executive responsibility for global marketing organizations.
  • Proven success leading global marketing teams across multiple regions.
  • Demonstrated success driving demand generation, commercial growth, and measurable business impact.
  • Strong understanding of modern marketing practices, including digital marketing, marketing operations, analytics, and customer engagement.
  • Experience managing significant marketing budgets and aligning investments to business objectives.
  • B2B marketing experience within industrial technology, test & measurement, semiconductor, scientific instrumentation, or other highly technical markets.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and build cross-functional partnerships.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence cross-functional leaders and build alignment across the organization.
  • Proven track record of building, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Willingness to travel globally as needed. Hybrid in Beaverton, OR preferred; remote candidates will be considered.
