The Role
Fusion Risk Management is seeking a commercially accountable growth marketing executive to serve as Vice President, Growth Marketing. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), this role owns Growth Marketing's contribution to enterprise pipeline and is responsible for building the programs, operating system, and cross-functional orchestration required to scale it.
This is a builder-and-scaler leadership role spanning two distinct buying motions. In Fusion's established categories, the Vice President will capture and convert existing market demand efficiently through the Market Maker motion. At the same time, this leader will develop larger enterprise opportunities through the Enterprise Builder motion, engaging executive buying groups around broader enterprise resilience challenges before a traditional category evaluation, defined project, or budget has fully formed.
The Vice President will design integrated growth programs around priority markets, target accounts, buying groups, and business outcomes, then orchestrate execution across Marketing, Sales, Alliances, Customer, and Revenue Operations. This leader will directly oversee Enterprise Builder BDR, Market Maker BDR, Digital Advertising, Demand Generation Operations, and Marketing Analytics / Operations / AI Enablement, while influencing adjacent GTM functions through clear program architecture, shared measures, and operating discipline.
Success in this role requires a leader who treats pipeline, revenue, efficiency, and win rate as business outcomes; can scale an operating model that is already showing early traction; and uses market and pipeline evidence to optimize investment, improve repeatability, and change course decisively when warranted.

Responsibilities

Enterprise Pipeline & Growth Strategy

• Own Growth Marketing's pipeline commitment across both existing-demand and enterprise demand-creation motions, translating company growth objectives into target-account, program, investment, and pipeline plans.
• Build predictable enterprise pipeline while maintaining visibility into pipeline quality, progression, conversion, efficiency, expansion pipeline, and shared win-rate improvement - not simply marketing activity or channel metrics.
• Determine how programs, investment, engagement, and execution should differ based on buying maturity, account opportunity, market dynamics, and evidence of customer demand.
• Protect and improve the performance of Fusion's established demand engine while scaling new approaches for developing larger enterprise opportunities and broader enterprise resilience demand.
• Partner closely with Sales and Revenue Operations to translate revenue objectives into pipeline requirements, program priorities, account strategies, and resource tradeoffs.

Integrated Growth Programs & GTM Orchestration

• Translate Fusion's category, industry, solution, and customer-expansion strategies into integrated growth programs built around specific markets, buying groups, target accounts, and business outcomes.
• Define each program's audience, value hypothesis, engagement architecture, content and proof requirements, BDR activation, digital and event roles, partner participation, Sales plays, investment model, and measurement framework.
• Establish programs - rather than individual channels - as the primary unit of growth management, ensuring activities across the buyer journey work as an integrated system.
• Orchestrate execution across Product Marketing, Brand and Content, BDRs, Digital, Events, Sales, Customer, Alliances, and Revenue Operations through clear objectives, decision rights, operating cadence, measures of success, and accountability.
• Create alignment across strong functional leaders through program design, data, influence, and shared business outcomes rather than relying solely on direct reporting authority.
• Develop account-based, multi-threaded enterprise engagement that helps executive buying groups understand the problem, quantify business impact, explore value, and build the case for change.

Growth Operations, Analytics & AI Enablement

• Build and continuously improve the Growth Marketing operating system, including planning, weekly pipeline reviews, program performance reviews, executive reporting, and account-level measurement.
• Establish hypotheses, learning agendas, and leading indicators before programs launch, then use account and pipeline evidence to optimize investment and execution.
• Balance analytical rigor with speed and judgment, recognizing that complex enterprise markets may require decisions before statistically large samples are available.
• Build trusted visibility into program economics, attribution limitations, account progression, conversion, pipeline quality, and shared win-rate performance.
• Use automation and AI to increase research, personalization, content, outreach, analytics, workflow efficiency, and GTM throughput before adding proportional headcount.
• Evaluate and scale AI-enabled growth capabilities where they improve execution quality, efficiency, personalization, or decision-making.

Team Leadership & Organizational Development

• Lead the Growth Marketing organization across Enterprise Builder BDR, Market Maker BDR, Digital Advertising, Demand Generation Operations, and Marketing Analytics / Operations / AI Enablement.
• Develop leaders, clarify accountability, and evolve roles and team structure as Fusion's growth model scales.
• Coach capable teams into a more sophisticated, integrated operating model while maintaining current pipeline delivery and business performance.
• Create a culture of commercial accountability, direct feedback, experimentation, intellectual openness, and continuous improvement.
• Assess organizational capability and resource allocation regularly, ensuring the team structure supports Fusion's growth priorities and operating model.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Enterprise Growth & Pipeline Expertise

• Deep understanding of B2B enterprise growth marketing with direct accountability for pipeline or revenue outcomes.
• Strong command of complex, multi-buyer enterprise SaaS sales motions, including long sales cycles and large deal sizes, typically $200K+.
• Demonstrated ability to design and scale integrated growth programs spanning account strategy, content, digital, BDR/SDR activation, events, Sales plays, partnerships, and measurement.
• Genuine account-based and multi-threaded enterprise orchestration expertise extending beyond ABM technology, advertising, or campaign execution.
• Ability to operate effectively across both demand capture in established categories and market education or demand creation for emerging strategic buying motions.
• Strong understanding of customer expansion, partner or alliance co-marketing, and the role of proof, advocacy, and customer evidence in enterprise growth.

Analytics, Operating Discipline & AI

• Working command of marketing analytics, pipeline economics, attribution limitations, leading indicators, conversion analysis, account-level measurement, and executive reporting.
• Ability to form clear hypotheses, instrument programs, evaluate evidence, and make timely investment or execution decisions without allowing analysis to slow the business.
• Experience building repeatable planning and performance-management systems that connect marketing activity to pipeline and revenue outcomes.
• Practical AI-first operating experience in areas such as research, personalization, content, outreach, analytics, workflow automation, or GTM engineering.
• Strong judgment regarding where automation and AI can create leverage while preserving quality, brand integrity, and appropriate human oversight.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership

• Commercial mindset with the ability to treat pipeline, revenue, efficiency, conversion, and win rate as shared business outcomes rather than marketing attribution exercises.
• Strong partnership with Sales and the ability to align Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, Customer, Alliances, Product Marketing, Brand, and other GTM stakeholders around common priorities.
• Demonstrated success leading through a matrix where critical contributors and functional leaders may not report directly to the role.
• Strong executive communication, influence, and decision-making skills, with the ability to create clarity around priorities, tradeoffs, accountability, and performance.
• Builder-and-scaler orientation with the ability to inherit an operating model showing early validation, preserve what works, improve its economics and repeatability, and change what does not.
• Low-ego leadership style that combines strong judgment with intellectual openness, constructive challenge, leader development, and a focus on business outcomes over functional ownership.

Qualifications (Education and Experience)

• 10+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including meaningful leadership of managers and direct accountability for pipeline or revenue outcomes.
• Significant enterprise SaaS experience supporting complex, multi-buyer sales motions, typically involving $200K+ deal sizes and sales cycles of six months or longer.
• Demonstrated experience designing and scaling integrated enterprise growth programs across multiple channels, functions, and stages of the buyer journey.
• Experience inheriting and improving an existing growth organization or operating model while maintaining business performance and pipeline delivery.
• Experience working in a matrixed GTM environment and partnering closely with Sales to translate revenue goals into pipeline requirements, program priorities, and resource decisions.
• Experience in an enterprise software company evolving from an established functional category toward a broader strategic platform or new buying motion strongly preferred.
• Experience in a $50M-$200M revenue company, private-equity-backed environment, or comparable growth-stage business with strong efficiency, accountability, and reporting discipline preferred.
• Domain exposure to resilience, risk, governance/risk/compliance (GRC), cybersecurity, compliance, regulated industries, or financial-services technology preferred.
• Experience with partner or alliance co-marketing, customer expansion programs, and AI-enabled GTM operations preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual base salary for this position is $200,000. This role is also eligible for bonus potential. Fusion offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.

  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
