Video Producer, YouTube - PrayerSong

Snowball is seeking a Video Producer to develop and execute deeply moving YouTube content for PrayerSong, a mission-driven platform focused on spreading love, hope, and human connection through music and storytelling.

PrayerSong creates powerful content designed to comfort, inspire, and bring people together. Their work centers on compassion, resilience, spiritual reflection, and universal human experiences that transcend background or belief.

Mission alignment is essential. The team is looking for someone who feels personally connected to the purpose of spreading love, emotional healing, and connection through storytelling, and who is genuinely moved by meaningful human stories.

PrayerSong is expanding its YouTube presence with emotionally driven content designed to resonate on a deep human level. As Video Producer, you will own the full creative lifecycle from concept through delivery, shaping narratives that feel intimate, authentic, and impactful.

Much of the emotional power of this content emerges in post-production, so you will collaborate closely with the editor to guide story structure, tone, and pacing.

This role reports directly to PrayerSong, with Snowball serving as the strategic YouTube partner supporting channel growth and creative development. You will work alongside a team that has collectively grown YouTube channels to 27M+ subscribers and generated over 110B views.

• Develop YouTube-first concepts aligned with PrayerSong’s mission and emotional tone

• Shape personal stories into clear, respectful, and compelling narrative arcs

• Lead the end-to-end production process including planning, scripting, and post-production collaboration

• Guide story development with empathy and sensitivity

• Work closely with the editor to craft emotionally impactful final pieces

• Ensure authenticity, warmth, and integrity in all storytelling

• Collaborate with PrayerSong and Snowball teams on performance insights and format evolution

• Manage timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables independently

• 5+ years of experience as a video producer, documentary filmmaker, or narrative content creator

• Strong portfolio demonstrating emotionally resonant storytelling

• Experience producing YouTube-optimized long-form content

• Exceptional ability to shape sensitive or personal stories with care

• Highly self-directed and comfortable owning projects end to end

• Strong collaboration skills across creative and mission-driven teams

• Deep understanding of YouTube storytelling and audience engagement

• Background in documentary, human-interest, nonprofit, or purpose-driven media

• Experience creating spiritual or inspirational content

• Experience prioritizing emotional impact and human connection over spectacle or high production value
