Lead and scale Icertis' global Legal Advisory function, helping corporate legal departments, General Counsel, and legal operations leaders leverage Contract Intelligence and AI to transform legal operations and business outcomes. 

This executive leadership role sits at the intersection of law, technology, AI, and business strategy, serving as a trusted advisor to customers and a visible thought leader in the legal technology market.

Partner closely with Sales, Solution Advisory, Product Management, Marketing, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to drive revenue growth, shape product innovation, and strengthen Icertis' market leadership. 

Build and lead a team of Legal Advisors, establish scalable operating models and methodologies, and create a global strategy to support customer engagement, legal transformation, and AI adoption.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to General Counsel, Chief Legal Officers, Legal Operations leaders, and executive stakeholders, driving conversations on legal transformation, AI adoption, governance, compliance, and risk management. 
  • Represent Icertis as a global thought leader through executive briefings, industry events, analyst engagements, webinars, and conferences. 
  • Partner with Sales and Solution Advisory teams to support strategic opportunities, engage executive buyers, and accelerate revenue growth. 
  • Deliver legal domain expertise throughout the customer lifecycle, helping customers define transformation strategies, business value, and ROI. 
  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing global Legal Advisory team, fostering a culture of innovation, customer focus, and AI-first thinking. 
  • Establish scalable advisory methodologies, engagement frameworks, best practices, and performance standards to support organizational growth. 
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Design, and Engineering teams to bring customer insights into product strategy and innovation. 
  • Analyze market trends, competitive developments, and emerging legal technologies to influence market strategy, thought leadership, and Icertis' position as the leader in AI-powered Contract Intelligence.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree; active or previous legal qualification preferred. 
  • 15+ years of experience in legal technology, legal operations, enterprise software, consulting, or corporate legal environments. 
  • Proven experience partnering with corporate legal departments, General Counsel, Chief Legal Officers, Legal Operations leaders, and other senior legal stakeholders. 
  • Deep expertise in commercial contracting, contract lifecycle management (CLM), governance, compliance, risk management, and legal transformation. 
  • Ability to advise executive audiences on contract risk, regulatory compliance, governance, legal operations, and AI adoption within legal organizations. 
  • Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing advisory teams, including scaling global programs and functions. 
  • Exceptional executive communication, storytelling, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage CEOs, General Counsel, CLOs, CPOs, CIOs, and Board-level stakeholders. 
  • Strong understanding of value realization, ROI development, digital transformation, and a passion for AI, innovation, and the future of legal work.

Compensation: OTE: $258,000 to $400,000 (75/25)
