  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with commercial leadership, market leaders, industry teams, and practice stakeholders to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and broader business development objectives.

  • Performance Measurement & Optimization: Establish KPIs and reporting metrics to evaluate marketing performance, brand visibility, engagement, sponsorship ROI, and campaign effectiveness. Continuously refine strategy through data-driven insights and market intelligence.

  • Budget Management: Develop and manage CFGI’s global marketing and business development budget while coordinating localized budgets and investment priorities across markets and industries.

  • Sales Enablement & GTM Support: Manage the firm’s internal GTM site and related content supporting sales enablement, commercial training, and business development initiatives.

  • Alumni Network Management: Oversee strategy and engagement initiatives related to CFGI’s alumni network.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.

  • Ten plus years of progressive marketing leadership experience, ideally within professional services, consulting, advisory, or B2B environments.

  • Proven experience building and executing integrated marketing, content, and brand strategies across multiple channels.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, social media strategy, content distribution, and marketing analytics.

  • Experience leading thought leadership initiatives, events, podcasts, webinars, or external programming efforts.

  • Familiarity with AI-enabled marketing tools, automation platforms, and modern content development strategies preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively within a highly collaborative, matrixed organization.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
