Lead the product strategy and vision, manage a team of product managers and designers, and collaborate across departments to enhance Workers' Comp insurance offerings at Kinetic.
About Kinetic
Backed by Nationwide, Kinetic is a tech-first Managing General Agent (MGA) focused on leveraging AI-driven technology and expert human support to transform workers' compensation claims management. By utilizing data to create actionable steps from the moment of injury through closure, Kinetic works to reduce workplace injuries, streamline the claims process, and lower premiums for midsize and large businesses in safety-critical industries like parcel delivery, manufacturing, and wholesale/warehousing operations. We also work directly with enterprise clients.
We’re a remote-first team headquartered in New York City, growing fast—10x in the past two years—and driven by accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration. If you're excited to build a career with impact, we’d love to meet you.
Kinetic was named to Business Insurance's Best Place to Work in Insurance 2025.
About the Role
Your objective will be to create an experience that makes Kinetic the go-to choice for mid-market and larger accounts when buying a Workers’ Comp insurance policy. This role will lead our product strategy and vision, and you will collaborate with the entire team at Kinetic on Vision, Strategy, and OKRs.
You will start by immediately managing a team of three Product Managers and a Lead Product Designer, but this team may expand depending on the needs of the business. Your primary focus will be the responsibility of fusing our software product with more traditional insurance services such as claims oversight, handling, and loss control. You will continue to build on the foundation of our Claims Navigator product for both internal and external users. This will be a mix of software and process development as you build out the product. You will work incredibly closely with our VP of Engineering, and our engineering teams to build out a reliable, scalable product for our users.
Additionally, you will own where this product goes in the future for greater and greater impact on the Workers’ Comp experience. We expect you to be closely connected with all of our stakeholders and drive product strategy with industry and customer data. While we tend to focus on claims management at this time, we know there are several other pain points inside the Workers’ Comp ecosystem that are worth exploring in the future.

- Ensuring our PMs clearly define product requirements to engineering so that we have a high-value and stable platform for all stakeholders.
- Deeply understand the needs and operational flows of the different stakeholders at Kinetic, including our distribution, underwriting, and account services teams.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 10+ years as a Product Leader in a SaaS organization, ideally at a startup or growth stage business.
- You have been part of the leadership team, and regularly led the communication of the Product Vision and Strategy to counterparts.
- You have had multiple experiences working with engineering leaders to create cultures that have empowered engineers.
- You have realized the full potential of a product by organizing and focusing a team
- You have hired and managed a team of product managers and designers. You’ve led the development of team members, both in terms of their skills and quality of deliverables.
- You have a strong analytics background and have used data to make product prioritization decisions throughout your career.

- You have a wealth of insurance knowledge and already understand the pain points of our customer base
