Reporting to the VP of Centralized Clinical Operations, this leader will oversee the Staffing Liaison team and be responsible for aligning caregiver capacity with client needs, improving workforce utilization, reducing open client hours, and strengthening staffing performance across all Abound Health markets.

This is an ideal opportunity for a data-driven operations leader with experience in workforce planning, staffing, recruiting, capacity management, or service delivery operations. The successful candidate will use workforce data, forecasting, and operational insights to identify staffing gaps, improve caregiver utilization, strengthen the connection between recruiting and staffing needs, and build scalable processes that support continued growth.

This is a fully remote position operating primarily during East Coast business hours.

Success in this role will be measured by reductions in open client hours and unmet service needs, improved staffing efficiency and caregiver utilization, stronger alignment between workforce supply and client demand, and consistent execution of staffing processes across markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Staffing Liaisons responsible for matching caregivers with client needs and supporting continuity of services across multiple states.

  • Drive workforce planning, capacity management, and staffing optimization strategies to maximize caregiver availability and utilization while reducing open client hours.

  • Analyze staffing, recruiting, workforce, and service data to identify trends, capacity gaps, operational bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Develop and monitor workforce KPIs, dashboards, forecasts, and performance reporting to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Translate client staffing demand into actionable workforce and recruiting needs, helping ensure caregiver supply is aligned with current and anticipated service needs.

  • Partner closely with Clinical Operations, Client Intake, Onboarding, Scheduling, and other operational leaders to proactively address workforce supply and client demand.

  • Monitor staffing performance and implement action plans to improve coverage, responsiveness, caregiver utilization, and service-level performance.

  • Establish clear performance expectations and accountability measures for the Staffing Liaison team.

  • Identify process inefficiencies and lead operational improvement initiatives that increase productivity, consistency, scalability, and service delivery performance.

  • Optimize workflows, technology utilization, and workforce management practices across markets.

  • Ensure consistent processes, system utilization, and documentation standards across regions.

  • Support strategic initiatives related to organizational growth, workforce planning, capacity forecasting, recruiting strategy, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of people leadership experience in healthcare, human services, staffing, recruiting, workforce operations, or another high-volume service environment.

  • Demonstrated success leading teams against measurable performance goals, KPIs, and accountability standards.

  • Experience with workforce planning, staffing optimization, scheduling, recruiting, capacity management, or workforce deployment.

  • Recruiting or talent acquisition experience strongly preferred, particularly in high-volume or difficult-to-fill workforce environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to use data, analytics, forecasting, and operational reporting to drive decisions and improve outcomes.

  • Experience improving workforce utilization, reducing staffing or service gaps, increasing coverage, or improving operational efficiency.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex operational data into clear priorities and actionable strategies.

  • Experience developing or managing KPIs, dashboards, forecasts, and performance reporting.

  • Strong process-improvement skills with experience identifying bottlenecks and implementing scalable operational solutions.

  • Proficiency with workforce management systems, scheduling platforms, CRM systems, reporting tools, and other operational technology.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to collaborate across clinical, recruiting, and operational teams.

  • Strategic thinker who is equally comfortable analyzing performance data and working hands-on with a team to improve results.

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-state environment.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Healthcare Administration, Human Services, or a related field preferred. Equivalent relevant professional experience may also be considered.
