Description

We are monday.com, a global software company transforming how businesses run.

Our product suite adapts to the needs of diverse industries and use cases within one powerful platform, empowering over 245,000 customers worldwide to reimagine how work gets done, drive greater efficiency, and scale like never before.

With more than 3,500 employees across the globe, we grow by prioritizing transparency and knowledge sharing. We care about the impact you make, not the hours you clock, so we encourage initiative, ownership, and fresh thinking. We back our people with flexible work, wellness and mental health support, and a work environment built on collaboration.

About The Role

We’re looking for hands-on builders - people who love diving into AI tools, experimenting quickly, and turning concepts into real, measurable solutions.

As an AI Innovation Builder, you’ll architect and develop intelligent experiences that transform how teams and customers interact with monday.com. You’ll prototype, build, learn, rebuild, iterate fast, and optimize in production.

You’ll work across CSM, CX, Services, Product, and R&D, creating AI-powered solutions that make monday.com smarter, faster, and more intuitive. Whether you’re designing AI-driven workflows, building copilots and agents, or crafting end-to-end intelligent experiences, you’ll help shape the next generation of AI at monday.com.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with teams across CX, CS, Services, Product, and Operations to uncover high-impact AI and automation opportunities.
  • Design, prototype, and deploy AI-powered solutions using LLMs, automation frameworks, agent libraries, and no/low-code tools.
  • Build real, working proof-of-concepts - connecting APIs, orchestrating workflows, and validating technical feasibility.
  • Develop and refine prompt strategies, agent behaviors, and decision logic to improve performance and reliability.
  • Instrument and measure your solutions with clear KPIs, iterating based on data and learnings.
  • Create documentation, reusable components, and playbooks that help teams experiment with and scale AI capabilities.
  • Integrate new AI solutions into existing monday.com tools, ensuring secure, stable, and scalable adoption.
  • Stay ahead of emerging AI technologies, evaluating which architectures, tools, or models unlock the most business value.
Requirements
  • 2–4 years in a technical, automation, or AI-focused role - or a portfolio of hands-on projects demonstrating strong technical capability.
  • Experience building automations and workflows using tools like n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar orchestration platforms.
  • Working knowledge of LLM APIs, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector stores, and retrieval workflows.
  • Comfortable connecting systems via APIs, webhooks, and lightweight backend logic to create automated, end-to-end workflows.
  • Ability to extend no-code tools with JavaScript or Python where needed.
  • Interest or experience in building AI agents, copilots, or domain-specific assistants that drive real outcomes.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills - you enjoy debugging, iterating fast, and finding practical ways to apply emerging technologies.
  • Self-directed learner who actively explores new AI tools, experiments with them, and shares knowledge with others.
  • Experience with conversational design, agent frameworks, or orchestration libraries (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex) is a plus.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
