One of Pine Services Group’s operating companies, Raiz, is seeking an ERP & Accounting Systems Consultant to support the implementation of modern, AI-native finance platforms for growing businesses. This role is ideal for an accounting or finance professional interested in the intersection of accounting, systems, and emerging technologies.

You will work closely with Raiz’s Lead Consultant to support client engagements, configure finance systems, and help deliver successful implementations of Rillet, an AI-native ERP platform. This position offers the opportunity to develop consulting experience, deepen technical and accounting expertise, and contribute to building a modern finance systems practice.

Why This Role

This role is well suited for an accounting professional who enjoys working with systems and technology in addition to traditional accounting work. If you’ve found yourself drawn to improving processes, configuring software, or helping teams work more efficiently in their finance systems, this position offers the opportunity to build those skills in a consulting environment.

Role Summary

In this role, you will support the implementation of modern finance systems for client organizations, working alongside senior consultants to deliver successful ERP deployments and help clients improve their financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Rillet ERP implementations from kickoff through go-live alongside the Lead Consultant.

  • Assist with requirements gathering and translate accounting and finance workflows into system configurations.

  • Configure and test finance system functionality to ensure accuracy and scalability.

  • Support client training, documentation, and post-implementation optimization.

  • Contribute to the development of internal implementation playbooks and best practices.

  • Assist with client discovery, project scoping, and sales handoffs as you gain exposure to the full engagement lifecycle.

  • Continuously expand knowledge of finance systems, automation tools, and emerging AI-enabled accounting technologies.

What We're Looking For

    • CPA preferred (active or inactive). Strong accounting credentials are valued.

    • 2–4 years of accounting or finance experience, including public accounting or industry roles in general ledger, revenue accounting, or consolidations.

    • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and the month-end close process.

    • Experience with ERP or accounting platforms such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or QuickBooks.

    • Interest in modern finance technology, automation, and AI-enabled accounting platforms.

    • Ability to translate accounting requirements into system configurations and workflows.

    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with Controllers, CFOs, and finance teams.

    • Collaborative, self-directed work style with strong attention to detail.

    • Nice to Have

      • Prior consulting, implementation, or client-facing experience.

      • Familiarity with ASC 606 and SaaS revenue recognition.

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
