This role is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's identity and access management (IAM) systems. This role ensures that users have appropriate access to the resources they need to perform their jobs while mitigating security risks. This role will support the IAM Engineer in supporting IAM systems.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Support the administration of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including user provisioning, group management, and single sign-on (SSO) support.
  • Process user access requests, account creations, modifications, and terminations in accordance with established IAM policies, procedures, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Assist with the administration of Active Directory, including user accounts, security groups, distribution groups, and password management activities.
  • Perform identity lifecycle management activities, including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding of users across corporate applications and systems.
  • Support Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) processes through SailPoint, including access provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews, and certification campaigns.
  • Assist with Privileged Access Management (PAM) operations using CyberArk, including privileged account onboarding, access requests, credential management, and compliance monitoring.
  • Review and validate access requests to ensure appropriate approvals are obtained and access is granted in accordance with the principle of least privilege.
  • Utilize company ticketing systems to record, track, document, and resolve access-related incidents, service requests, changes, and operational activities.
  • Monitor IAM work queues and resolve routine identity, authentication, and access-related issues in a timely manner, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records of access changes, account administration activities, and audit-related documentation.
  • Participate in periodic access certification and recertification activities to support security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate and distribute operational, audit, and compliance reports related to user access, provisioning activities, and SLA performance.
  • Assist with onboarding applications into IAM platforms by documenting access requirements, supporting testing activities, and validating provisioning processes.
  • Support IAM Engineers in managing Entra ID and Okta B2B/B2C solutions to enable secure access for external users and business partners.
  • Collaborate with Service Desk, Human Resources, Information Security, application owners, and business teams to ensure timely and accurate identity and access management processes.
  • Develop and maintain IAM procedures, knowledge base articles, process documentation, and audit support materials.
  • Support compliance with company Information Security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in troubleshooting access and authentication issues using approved diagnostic and monitoring tools.
  • Identify trends in incidents, access requests, and operational issues and communicate findings to management for continuous improvement.
  • Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
  • Maintain and expand technical knowledge of identity governance, access management, cybersecurity best practices, and supported IAM technologies through training and professional development.
  • Perform other duties, projects, and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • 2-year degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience to complete assigned duties.
  • Entry level professional with 0-2 years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically at an Analyst level role or external equivalent.
  • 0-2 years’ experience using Entra ID/Azure AD/Active Directory and the IAM controls behind each.
  • Understanding of Azure AD and its core components.
  • Experience with identity and access management concepts and best practices.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and directory services.
  • Understanding of security principles and risk management.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work shifts outside of normal working hours.
  • Requires the ability to be on call and support a 24/7/365 operations

The annual full time base salary range for this role is

$58,000.00 - $72,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
