  • Establish key performance indicators and lead operational analytics across the distribution funnel to improve productivity, conversion, growth, retention, and profitability.
  • Own lead analytics from generation through routing, contact, conversion, and retention; identify gaps in lead volume, quality, capacity, and execution and drive corrective action.
  • Partner with Marketing and channel leaders to increase qualified lead flow, improve conversion, and optimize spend based on measurable return.
  • Develop agent growth and market opportunity models that guide recruiting, expansion, investment, territory coverage, and channel capacity decisions.
  • Translate data into practical recommendations that help agents grow their businesses and strengthen sales execution.
  • Build and operationalize dashboards, self-service tools, scorecards, and decision-support capabilities that make performance transparent and actionable.
  • Deliver proactive insights, scenarios, and executive narratives that clearly communicate opportunities, risks, and tradeoffs.
  • Monitor consumer, competitor, economic, technology, and distribution trends and assess their implications for strategy, demand, channel mix, and growth.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with Marketing, Distribution, Finance, Operations, Data and Technology, and other partners from problem definition through implementation and operating adoption.
  • Establish analytics standards, metric definitions, data-quality expectations, and disciplined performance routines across channels.
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing strategy and analytics team while planning for future capability and capacity needs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10 or more years of experience in strategy, analytics, planning, consulting, finance, distribution, or a related leadership discipline; insurance or financial services experience preferred.
  • Significant people-leadership experience with a record of building, coaching, and scaling high-performing strategy and analytics teams.
  • Demonstrated ownership of enterprise or multi-channel strategy, analytics, and planning, with the ability to set direction and drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Deep expertise in operational and sales-funnel analytics, including lead generation, routing, productivity, conversion, growth, retention, and investment effectiveness.
  • Experience supporting field agent, call center, partnership, and digital or direct distribution models and engaging directly with frontline stakeholders.
  • Advanced quantitative and financial acumen, including modeling, forecasting, dashboard development, data visualization, and decision-tool design.
  • Executive-level communication and influence, with the ability to turn complex analysis into clear recommendations for agent, functional, and senior leadership audiences.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from ambiguous problem definition through implementation and sustained operating adoption.
  • A proactive, externally oriented perspective on customer, competitor, technology, and distribution trends, supported by sound judgment, curiosity, and a bias for action.

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
