About Elevate Leadership and This Role

At Elevate Leadership, we believe who you work for is everything. Our mission: help managers become the kind of leader others want to work for.

We partner with some of the world's fastest-growing companies to build modern leadership capabilities through coaching, workshops, AI-enabled practice, and customized leadership programs.

We're hiring a B2B Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own email strategy and execution. You'll build segmentation, design workflows tailored to different personas, test and learn, and report on what's driving engagement and expansion.

This role works closely with our Founders, Head of Marketing, and VP of Sales & Customer Success.

Why This Role Matters

Email and lifecycle strategy are how we build meaningful relationships with People and HR leaders. This role brings strategy and thoughtful execution to every stage of our customer journey, creating a more intentional, data-driven engine for growth and engagement.

What You'll Do

Email & Lifecycle Marketing

  • Own email strategy and execution in HubSpot, ensuring a consistent Elevate brand voice across every contact touchpoint
  • Build a customer segmentation strategy across new contacts, current customers, past customers and newsletter subscribers, with content and cadence tailored to each
  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Success to understand what's working in conversations and customer feedback to shape and refine our email strategy
  • Lead reporting on pipeline progression, conversion rates, and email performance to inform ongoing optimization and testing
  • Leverage Claude and AI tools to build systems across the role that are transparent and easy for the team to maintain and evolve
  • Pre and post event marketing

Who You Are

You're an operator who thinks creatively and strategically. You're deeply passionate about building a cohesive customer experience, understanding our community and crafting messaging that brings the Elevate brand to life.

You likely bring:

  • Strong writing ability. You can write clear, compelling content. You can match a brand voice. You can adapt your message for different audiences while keeping it consistent.
  • Deep experience in B2B email and lifecycle marketing. You've built email strategies from scratch and owned them end-to-end. The specifics of how many years matter less than the depth of your experience.
  • Hands-on HubSpot experience: You've built segments, created workflows, set up behavioral triggers, tested variations. You have owned the infrastructure and the campaigns.
  • Strong analytical mindset: You pull reports, read them, and change course based on what they say. You understand A/B testing methodology.
  • Direct experience segmenting audiences and personalizing messaging. Proven ability to segment audiences and tailor messaging by buyer type. You're the kind of person who gets excited about cracking what messaging lands with each persona.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills. You've worked closely with go-to-market teams. You understand what they need and can translate between their priorities. You think about the whole customer experience with what you build.
  • Hands-on with AI as a building tool. You've used Claude (or similar) to solve problems: designing workflows, pulling reports, creating systems. You're not afraid of technical work.
  • Comfort owning processes end-to-end. You can take a messy problem and build structure around it. You think about handoffs and dependencies.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
