Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Communications, the Brand & Digital Communications Manager executes day-to-day digital marketing and communications tactics for University Prep. The Manager is responsible for creating and publishing content across the school’s website and social/digital media channels, as well as maintaining consistent branding schoolwide. Drawing on strong written, digital, and visual communication skills, the Manager helps share the mission and story of the school with diverse audiences, including alumni, faculty, staff, parents/guardians, students, prospective families, and the broader public.
Key Responsibilities:
Web and Digital Content
- Executes the web and digital content plan across UPrep’s public-facing website, internal Veracross portals, and social media in alignment with UPrep’s brand standards
- Writes and produces media for UPrep’s website, social media channels, and magazine according to project objectives, timelines, and guidelines
- Creates content for and posts regularly to the school’s social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube)
- Promotes best practices in digital media and ensures brand guidelines are maintained across digital channels schoolwide
- Designs and manages media display content on campus TV monitors using Rise Vision
Website and SEO Support
- Regularly refreshes website content and collaborates with internal departments to update section materials
- Implements basic SEO/SEM strategies to optimize web pages, headlines, and keywords
- Updates and maintains content on the Veracross Family, Faculty/Staff, and Student Portals
Social Media and Email Communications
- Collaborate with Enrollment, DEIB, Development, College Counseling, and faculty to source and capture compelling stories and content
- Monitors social channels, responds to inquiries in a timely manner, and tracks constituent engagement
- Partners with Marketing and Communications intern on the production and distribution of UPrep’s weekly all-school email via Veracross
Digital Analytics & Reporting:
- Prepares reports on digital engagement metrics, including website traffic (Google Analytics), social impressions, click-through rates, and open rates
- Summarizes analytics data to assist the Director of Communications in evaluating performance against department goals
Visual Design & Asset Management:
- Supports the production of small-scale print and digital design assets (postcards, social graphics, logos, and presentations) for school events and departmental needs
- Serves as a resource for maintaining brand consistency across all school-issued materials
- Captures photos/videos for social media and publications, and manages the Vidigami photo repository and department b-roll folder
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
- 3-5 years of professional experience in digital communications, content creation, or social media management
- Hands-on experience with content management systems (website and Veracross preferred)
- Proficiency with Canva and Adobe
- Familiarity with SEO best practices
- Experience working in an educational or non-profit setting is preferred

- Good organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range is $78,000 - $86,000 based on education and years of experience.
