The Bilingual Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) will be part of a dynamic research lab working to test the effectiveness of lifestyle, behavioral, and nutritional education interventions on various clinical and quality of life outcomes in cancer survivors. The Bilingual CRC will support a health-focused research study by assisting with the day-to-day logistics of implementing a virtual intervention for participants in several states. This position offers hands-on experience in research processes and supports the research and clinical programs of Dr. Heather Greenlee. Evening and weekend hours may be required. 

Responsibilities

• Perform participant screening, consenting, enrollment, data collection, tracking, data entry and report creation for study progress and recruitment and report outs to study team.
• Engage in community outreach and recruitment via phone and in-person events.
• Regularly verify that data is connected and captured correctly. Track, flag, and resolve data discrepancies with the research team.
• Properly handle, transfer, and track biological specimens.
• Prepare, assemble, send out, and track, participant and data collection materials.
• Participant entry, data entry, coding and building of forms, reports, and other data management tools in REDCap, CTMS, and IRB.
• Assist with study protocol, procedures, and documentation as needed including recruitment documents, informed consents, data collection forms, Instruction sheets, SOPs, and IRB documents.
• Assist with administrative, regulatory, and institutional compliance as needed.
• Schedule study appointments, meetings, and visits with providers, patients, and study team(s), including project meeting administration (agendas, notes, etc) as needed.
• Maintain inventory of study supplies, including tracking and order prediction.
• Assist with onboarding and training project interns.
• Additional tasks and duties as assigned.

As a condition of employment, finalists for this Clinical Research Coordinator position must successfully complete a post-offer language-proficiency assessment. Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year experience in a clinical research or cancer registry environment with regulatory or human research protections.
• Demonstrated knowledge of how to synthesize study conduct.
• Ability to apply judgement in interpreting regulations, determining impacts, and knowing when to escalate questions and concerns when appropriate.
• This position requires Spanish language proficiency in addition to English. An essential function of this job includes regular communications with patients and study participants whose primary language is Spanish. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to troubleshoot tech issues.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Highly motivated individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
• Knowledge of REDCap.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $27.01 to $38.45 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.Although Fred Hutch is not sponsoring most H-1B visas at this time, candidates who already hold an H-1B sponsored by another organization and are currently in the U.S. may be eligible for this position.Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center offers employees a comprehensive benefits package designed to enhance health, well-being, and financial security.
