What you will do

The Customer Development Manager is responsible for building and expanding long-term partnership with key customers by continuously proposing solutions and plans that meet their objectives. To do so, you’ll develop a keen understanding of our product categories and markets. In this dynamic position, you'll be at the forefront of crafting and realising joint business plans, balancing customer success with our own growth. Key Responsibilities

  • Understand key strategic customers to develop and deliver joint business growth plans and build strong pipeline opportunities

  • Identify and maximize key customers’ product mix to deliver healthy and profitable growth

  • Negotiate effectively (e.g. value proposition, marketing support, product offers) to maximise ROI

  • Develop robust, strategic relationships with key partners, crafting joint business plans that encompass range, pricing, and promotions

  • Work in close partnership with Marketing, Shopper Marketing to develop plans to drive category / business plans; work with field sales to manage customer as key stakeholder

  • Developing promotional strategy in customers, and promotional execution (including trade budget management, range and space optimisation)

  • Overall Continuous improvement - identifying opportunities for efficiency and profitability and overall improvement in the management of categories

  • Take full ownership of the strategic plan for your account, driving sales and managing the profit and loss elements, aligning with the broader company goals.

  • Lead forecast planning in unison with finance and supply teams to provide stellar customer service and financial consistency.

  • Lead customer negotiations, representing Kenvue’s commercial interests and value-based trading terms effectively.

  • Work towards continuous enhancement of category management, improving efficiency and profitability.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration or a related field or a related field.

  • At least 2-3 years’ in managing national account sales within FMCG or related consumer-focused markets.

  • Strong commercial insight, and astute P&L management with the capability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.

  • Additional functional experience, preferably in Marketing, Trade Marketing and/or Retail is an advantage

  • Proven track record in Sales Management with major retailers

  • Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating.

  • Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral (in English) with at least one other language preferred

  • Analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation.

  • A diverse range of influencing styles and techniques at your disposal, with evidence of their effective application in past roles.
