The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Director, Client Solutions Leadership to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in either Orlando, FL, Tampa, FL, Winter Park, FL, Clearwater, FL, or West Palm Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, is able to work well with a team, and adapts quickly to change. This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive placement strategy aligned with organizational growth goals and incentives.

  • Evaluate market conditions, carrier appetites, and emerging insurance products to identify opportunities for clients and producers

  • Lead initiatives to improve market access, carrier diversification, and placement efficiency.

  • Monitor product performance and placement trends to maximize retention, profitability, and client satisfaction.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, wholesalers, MGAs, and underwriting partners.

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex placement issues and market challenges.

  • Represent the organization during carrier meetings and strategic planning sessions.

  • Provide guidance and support for account placements.

  • Collaborate with platform executive team, producers, sales leads, line of business leads, account executives, and placement specialists to secure optimal coverage solutions.

  • Review and evaluate difficult-to-place risks and recommend market strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with carrier requirements, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory standards.

  • Support sales teams with market intelligence, product expertise, and competitive positioning.

  • Partner with leadership to develop strategies for revenue growth and enhanced client offerings.

  • Participate in large account pursuits and key prospect presentations.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop placement professionals and market specialists.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Support succession planning and talent development within the placement function

  • Analyze placement metrics, carrier performance, hit ratios, revenue trends, and profitability.

  • Develop executive-level reporting and recommendations for leadership.

  • Utilize data to identify opportunities for operational improvements and strategic growth.

  • Monitor carrier concentration and market utilization to ensure balanced relationships.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in FL marketing leadership

  • 10+ years insurance industry experience.

  • 2-20 license required

  • College preferred but not required

  • Comprehensive written and verbal communication skills

  • High energy and enthusiasm

  • Strong interpersonal, motivation, and leadership skills

  • Willingness to self-direct and work independently.
