ABOUT THIS ROLE

LVT is seeking a high-caliber Director of Public Sector Capture & Contracts to drive growth and support our team.  The primary focus will be on State, Local, Education and U.S. Federal Government customers. As a senior individual contributor, you will  shape, respond and win prime and subcontract proposals. The ideal candidate will be leveraging deep knowledge of federal & state procurement to shape requirements and responses to secure our place as a mission-critical partner for government agencies.

This role can accommodate 100% remote work.   

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Proposals:  Responsible for producing clear, persuasive, and compliant written responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, Grants and other formal solicitations. Core functions typically include: reviewing solicitation requirements and building compliance matrices to ensure every requirement is addressed; coordinating with subject matter experts across sales, engineering, finance, and legal to gather technical, pricing, and contractual input; drafting and editing proposal narrative to win.
  • Capture: Lead/support end-to-end capture process for major federal opportunities, focusing on increasing our Probability of Win ($PWIN$) through rigorous analysis and strategic positioning.
  • Pipeline Development: Research and track federal and state solicitations via GovWin, SAM.gov, USAspending.gov, grants.gov and other agency/state specific portals to maintain a robust 18-month rolling pipeline of strategic opportunities.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct competitive and incumbent analyses to identify LVT’s unique value proposition and gaps in the current market landscape.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Engage with Small Business Administration, Government PMs and Contracting Specialist/Officers to shape requirements.
  • Contract Management: Oversee the strategy and compliance for LVT’s GSA Schedule as well as other IDIQs/BPAs.Includes catalog management, pricing , and contract modifications.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Account Executives, colleagues and Leadership to provide comprehensive pipeline briefings and strategic recommendations on "Go/No-Go" decisions.

Additional Duties will include:

  • Industry Presence: Represent LVT at Vendor Outreach Sessions, Industry Days, and webinars, distilling complex gathering intelligence into actionable executive summaries.
  • Teaming Strategy: Assist with Identification and vetting potential prime contractors and teaming partners.  Support execution of NDAs and Teaming Agreements (TAs) in collaboration with proposals.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Contracts Subject Matter Expert: Proven experience managing a company’s GSA Schedule, including pricing, catalog management, contract modifications, and ensuring strict compliance with federal procurement regulations.
  • Technical Architect and writer: Ability to formulate complex win themes and competitive ghosts that differentiate LVT’s AI and hardware solutions from traditional security incumbents.
  • Requirement Shaper: Skilled at engaging directly with federal program offices and end users to help shape current and future requirements and influence acquisition strategies prior to formal solicitations.
  • Acquisition Savvy: Deep understanding of federal acquisition processes and contracting structures, including IDIQs, BPAs, task orders, and OTA-based procurements.
  • Federal Growth Leader: Extensive experience in federal business development or capture management with a proven track record of winning multi-million dollar contracts.

  • Self-Directed Professional: A highly disciplined "hunter" who thrives in a remote, autonomous environment and can manage complex workstreams without daily supervision.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Executive-level presence with the ability to translate technical federal jargon into clear, compelling narratives for internal and external stakeholders.
COMPENSATION

The beginning annual salary range for this role is $185,000 - $234,000 USD and is determined by location, job-related experience, and education/training. Your total earning potential is amplified by a bonus structure tied to meeting goals, and you will become an owner from day one through our employee equity program.

TRAVEL

Anticipate travel 10- 20% to include industry events, agency site visits, or collaboration with partners and staff at our Headquarters in American Fork, Utah or other locations throughout the U.S. 

REQUIREMENT/S

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.  Directly related work experience can be substituted as deemed appropriate and relevant by hiring manager.
