As a Technology Strategy Executive within the Global Technology Strategy, Innovation and Partnerships team, you will be instrumental in shaping JPMC's firmwide technology strategy. You will cultivate and maintain high-level collaborative relationships with technology vendors and the emerging technology ecosystem, including the venture capital community, to influence partner roadmaps and align them with JPMC's strategic objectives. Your role will be essential in promoting innovation across the firm, ensuring JPMC leverages the business benefits of adopting advanced technology capabilities. You will collaborate closely with senior business and technology stakeholders across JPMC to ensure the execution of a cohesive firmwide strategy, with new innovations swiftly assessed, piloted, and scaled as necessary. Additionally, you will enhance internal awareness of cloud and infrastructure opportunities and support client-facing business development activities, working alongside the Strategic Investments team on private company investments that strategically align with JPMC's technology initiatives.

Job responsibilities
 

  • Help drive the firmwide technology strategy across JPMC
  • Build best-in-class collaborative relationships with technology vendors and the emerging technology ecosystem (including the venture capital community) in order to influence partner roadmaps and JPMC strategy
  • Drive innovation across JPMC and ensure that JPMC maximizes the business benefits of adoption of market leading technology capabilities
  • Influence senior business and technology stakeholders across JPMC ensuring execution on a coordinated firmwide strategy, with new innovations rapidly evaluated, piloted and then scaled firmwide where appropriate
  • Build internal awareness of Cloud and Infrastructure opportunities across JPMC
  • Support JPMC client facing business development activities, and partner with Strategic Investments team on private company investments which strategically align to JPMC's technology initiatives
  • Extensive knowledge and exposure to the external Cloud and Infrastructure Partner Ecosystem, and domain knowledge of key technology trends

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
 

  • Minimum of 6 years relevant experience with a leading technology company in a product related role, a top-tier consulting firm or an internal consulting/corporate strategy team, including at least 1 year of managerial experience leading teams. 3+ years of experience working closely with external technology companies in the Cloud and Infrastructure domain
  • Strong relationship and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with senior business and IT executives, as well as external executives. Strong passion for technology and staying abreast of industry trends. Track record of driving strategy, partnerships and innovation

  • Executive Presence: Experience and expertise facing off to senior executives by aligning & reinforcing the value of the solution to the customer's overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities and decision criteria.
  • Excellent Communicator: Able to distill widely variant feedback into root cause issues and provide actionable feedback to other stakeholders, deep technical product demo, presenting, writing, and verbal communication skills
  • Technical Breadth: Enterprise customer level experience with Artificial Intelligence, Data Platforms & Cyber
  • Technical Depth: Depth in multiple areas of Cloud and Infrastructure products such as Public and Private Cloud, Compute, Network, Storage, AI Infrastructure, Observability and others

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
 

  • Financial services background is preferred
