The FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) – Financial Services role is responsible for providing financial insights, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making within financial Services businesses. This position partners closely with senior leadership, business unit leaders, and cross-functional teams to drive profitability, efficiency, and sustainable growth while ensuring strong financial controls and regulator awareness.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead financial planning processes including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and long-range strategic planning.
    • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance and new products.
    • Analyze financial results, key performance indicators (KPIs) and variances, clearly communicate insights and recommendations to leadership.
    • Support profitability and cost management initiatives by identifying trends, risks and opportunities across financial services portfolio.
    • Partner with business leaders to provide decision support for revenue growth, expense optimization, capital allocation and risk management.
    • Prepare executive-level presentations, dashboards, and reporting packages/
    • Support regulator, compliance, and audit requirements by ensuring accuracy, transparency, and strong financial controls.
    • Improve FP&A processes, tools and reporting through automation and best practices.
    • Collaborate with Accounting, Treasury, Risk and other Finance teams to ensure alignment between actuals, forecasts and strategic objectives.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus.
    • 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), preferably supporting Financial Services, i.e. Credit Cards.
    • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with ERP and planning tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
    • Excellent communication and business partnering skills.
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Experience in developing and presenting business cases.
    • Strong quantitative skills including knowledge of Data-base environments (MS SQL Server) 
    • Deep understanding of financial services operations and financial regulations.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience supporting regulated financial products or services.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong Analytical and technical skills, i.e. Power BI, SQL,

    • At least 18 years of age
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States

    Base Pay Range: $86,300 - $155,700

    Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

    The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

    At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
