Who We Are

adMarketplace is the largest global marketplace for Native Search advertising. For over 25 years, we’ve connected brands with consumers at the moment they express commercial intent beyond legacy search engines.
Today, our Native Search solutions are exclusively integrated across next-generation platforms where discovery happens, including web browsers, Buy Now Pay Later apps, and AI chat surfaces. Powered by vector search technology, our platform delivers relevant text and product ads that match consumers with the brands, products, and offers they’re actively seeking.
Our award-winning culture is grounded in the principles of Curiosity, Collaboration, Creative Conflict, Commitment, and Competitiveness – our 5Cs. These values drive us to turn complexity into clarity and create measurable value for consumers, advertisers, and publishers alike.

The Role

adMarketplace is looking for a curious, analytical, and highly motivated Graduate Data Analyst to join our Measurement & Insights organization.

This is an early-career development role designed for someone who wants to build a career at the intersection of data, technology, product, and digital advertising. You'll begin with well-scoped analytical problems and progressively take ownership of more ambiguous work.

You'll work alongside Analytics Engineers, Data Scientists, Marketing Scientists, Product Managers, Engineers, and commercial teams to solve real problems using real marketplace data.

As your skills and interests develop, we'll help you build toward one of several career paths:

  • Analytics Engineering - building trusted datasets, metrics, and self-service analytics.

  • Data Science & Product Analytics - experimentation, causal analysis, product insights, and marketplace science.

  • Marketing Science - advertising measurement, incrementality, experimentation, and client-facing insights.

You aren't expected to know which path is right for you on day one. Part of the job is figuring that out.

What You'll Do
  • Learn Our Business & Data - Develop a strong understanding of adMarketplace, our marketplace, core datasets, metrics, and Enterprise Data Model.

  • Analyze Real Business Questions - Use SQL to investigate product and marketplace performance, identify drivers, analyze trends, and communicate findings.

  • Build Trusted Analytics - Help develop reusable datasets, QA metrics, document definitions, and turn recurring analyses into scalable analytics.

  • Learn Experimentation & Data Science - Support experiments, analyze A/B tests, and gain exposure to statistics, causal inference, Python/R, and marketplace science.

  • Learn Marketing Science - Support advertising-effectiveness and incrementality studies, including experimental QA and client-facing analyses.

  • Build Reusable Solutions - Look for opportunities to automate recurring work and use modern analytical and AI tools to make the team more effective.

What We're Looking For

We care more about your analytical potential and ability to learn than having years of experience.

You might be a recent graduate, completing your degree, or at the very beginning of your career.

We're looking for:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree-or equivalent experience-in a quantitative or analytical field.

  • Experience working with data through coursework, internships, research, projects, or professional work.

  • Basic SQL knowledge or demonstrated ability to learn technical tools quickly.

  • Strong quantitative reasoning and problem-solving skills.

  • Curiosity about how products and businesses work, not just the data they generate.

  • Clear communication and willingness to ask questions and challenge assumptions.

  • Motivation to learn unfamiliar tools, techniques, and domains.

Nice to Have - But Definitely Not Required
  • Python or R.

  • SQL beyond introductory coursework.

  • Statistics or experimental-design experience.

  • Data visualization experience.

  • Exposure to Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, Sigma, Tableau, or similar tools.

  • Experience working with real-world datasets.

  • Interest in advertising, marketplaces, search, or digital products.

We do not expect graduate candidates to arrive knowing all of these technologies. That's part of what you'll learn here.

  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
