Growth Marketing Manager - Seattle, WA (hybrid) - paid relocation available

The Growth and Marketing team is building the growth engine across the entire RentSpree customer experience. We're data-driven, insight-obsessed, and committed to exceeding acquisition, adoption, and revenue goals while strengthening trust with agents and landlords.

As a Growth Marketing Manager, you'll experiment across our growth flywheel end to end: from when a customer first learns about RentSpree and signs up, to when they have their first a-ha moment within the product; from multi-product adoption, all the way through when they turn into a multi-year customer who refers us to all of their friends.

Ultimately, you're accountable for moving your persona (landlord, agent, or tenant) from first touch through their entire user journey.

The surface area here is unusually wide, and that's the appeal. You decide where to experiment rather than inheriting a specific channel plan. It is not a mandate to run everything at once: you’ll pick the top experiments within channels that are likely to move your number - always focused on what we can learn and the impact to the business.

You'll work closely with the small marketing team focused on your specific persona, partner with the extended growth and marketing team, and work cross-functionally with product, sales, data, First Voice and Client Success. You'll scale your own output and create an outsized impact through AI-driven workflows and automation.

Hybrid in Seattle, WA. Three in-office collaboration days weekly plus occasional travel for offsites and events.

What You'll Do
  • Drive your audience's flywheel end to end: the full path from education and acquisition through activation, paid conversion, expansion and retention.
  • Design and run structured experiments: hypothesis, launch, measure, learn, iterate.
  • Grow through the people our customers already trust: we reach agents largely through our MLS, brokerage, and association partners rather than a list we own, and most of our landlords arrive because their agent handed them to us. Building on those relationship touchpoints is more effective than going around them.
  • Create growth inside the product, not just around it: work with product and growth engineering to test on the surfaces where people actually use RentSpree.
  • Leverage AI and agentic workflows to scale well past what one person could run by hand.

Our job descriptions evolve with our business needs and priorities. Your role may include other tasks, projects, and team support.

Skills You Bring
  • 5–10 years in growth marketing and a background in B2B SaaS, marketplace, B2B2C, or consumer/prosumer businesses.
  • Experience across several growth channels, with real depth in at least one.
  • Strong segmentation practices: you break a broad audience into behavioral and motivational segments and build against them, rather than treating everyone the same.
  • Comfortable where the instrumentation is thin: you set your own baselines, size the read honestly, and keep your nerve when the first several tests don't move anything.
  • Hands-on use of AI tools and agentic workflows to scale testing, personalization, and operations.
  • Deep knowledge of growth metrics (AARRR, LTV/CAC, funnel optimization), and skilled with modern marketing automation and analytics platforms (we use HubSpot, Amplitude, Omni and GA4).
  • A bias for clear prioritization, experimentation, and measurable, incremental results, and the communication skills to bring cross-functional partners with you.

Qualities You Practice

These are the principles we hire for and hold ourselves to:

  • Own it end to end. Drive projects from idea to execution. Take pride in the work. Do what it takes.
  • Communicate like a teammate. Direct, candid, and respectful. Give feedback well, receive it well, and build trust through transparency.
  • Hold a high bar. Think critically. Stay curious. Keep looking for ways to do it better.
  • Stay adaptable. Anticipate challenges, take initiative, and bring resourcefulness to whatever comes next.
  • Experiment and learn fast. Try things. Learn from what doesn't work. Keep it simple.
  • Debate well, commit fully. Push back constructively, contribute your point of view, then align and move together.
  • AI is a core skill. Use AI tools to move faster and think sharper.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
