The Lead Advisor, Internal Communications plays a critical role in amplifying that mission internally by operationalizing a more connected, scalable communications capability that ensures every Dynatracer feels informed, inspired, and connected to where we’re heading.
This strategic role sits at the intersection of global internal communications strategy and execution. They partner closely with communicators and subject matter experts across the business to translate enterprise priorities into impactful communications plans, to equip leaders to communicate with clarity, and to build the standards, processes, and tools to help teams across Dynatrace work within one connected communications ecosystem.
What you’ll do
Lead communications governance and planning

  • Translate the Internal Communications operating model into practical governance routines, standards, decision frameworks, and ways of working that help teams communicate consistently.
  • Lead enterprise communications planning, intake triage, prioritization, and sequencing for company-wide moments, including All Team meetings, enterprise announcements, and priority channel moments.

Build leadership communications capability

  • Design leadership communications programs, messaging frameworks, talk tracks, and toolkits that help senior leaders communicate with clarity, visibility, and consistency.
  • Support leaders through periods of growth, change, transformation, and organizational complexity with practical communication resources and strategic counsel.
    Lead manager cascade and enablement programs
  • Build manager cascade frameworks, communication kits, FAQs, and discussion guides that help leaders translate company moments into meaningful team conversations.
  • Create repeatable communications motions around All Team meetings, major announcements, enterprise initiatives, and follow-up leader cascades that support two-way dialogue and follow-through.
    Serve as an enterprise communications partner
  • Provide strategic advisory support, planning guidance, templates, and escalation support for lower-touch functions such as Finance and Legal, without becoming the day-to-day communications owner.
  • Advise on communication strategy, audience segmentation, stakeholder alignment, message development, channel approach, and change communications that require clarity and consistency across the business.
    Enable scale through tools, AI, and self-service resources
  • Design communications playbooks, templates, toolkits, self-service guidance, and reusable frameworks that define what good looks like and help teams communicate more effectively.
  • Identify practical ways to apply AI, coaching, shared standards, and scalable resources to improve message quality, planning, consistency, and communications consulting across Dynatrace.
What will help you succeed

Minimum Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in internal communications, employee communications, change communications, or corporate communications.
  • Experience building communications programs, frameworks, or processes that support business priorities and organizational change.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders in a complex organization.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience developing communication governance models, leadership enablement programs, or manager cascade resources.
  • Strong change communications, executive communications, and employee communications experience.
  • Excellent writing, facilitation, consulting, and project management skills.
  • Ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across functions.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI and emerging communications technologies.

Compensation and Rewards

The targeted base pay range for this role is $116K to $145K. When determining your salary, we consider your skills, experience, education, work location and internal equity.
