Meet the Team

Cisco’s Platform Experience Group is redefining how users interact with Cisco’s products by building the foundation for AI-powered, agentic experiences and generative UI that scale across the portfolio.

You’ll be a core member of the design team for Cisco Cloud Control — a high-visibility, next-generation enterprise platform connecting Cisco’s security, networking, and AI product lines. It’s also the home of AI Canvas, one of Cisco’s top priorities.

The team is small, dynamic, and deeply collaborative. Designers here work closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to deliver platform experiences that feel unified across the Cisco ecosystem, combining systems thinking with strong visual craft and execution.

Your Impact
As a Lead Product Designer, you’ll play a hands-on role in defining and delivering the foundational experience for Cisco Cloud Control, a platform uniting multiple Cisco products under one intelligent, AI-first framework. You’ll work end-to-end — from strategy and prototyping to pixel-level detail — to design scalable experiences that elevate usability, consistency, and trust across products.
What You’ll Do

  • Design and evolve platform frameworks and patterns that connect multiple Cisco products.

  • Define the vision and execution for AI-integrated, agentic, and generative UI workflows across the platform.

  • Apply enterprise platform thinking to create modular, extensible systems that scale across products and use cases.

  • Collaborate deeply with Product, Engineering, and Research partners to align priorities, influence roadmaps, and deliver cohesive end-to-end journeys.

  • Champion visual excellence, design storytelling, and collaboration, helping set a high bar for design craft and execution.

  • Use and help advance AI-assisted design and prototyping workflows to rapidly explore concepts, create and test interactive prototypes, accelerate iteration and validation, and communicate complex platform experiences while maintaining strong standards for usability and accessibility.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related experience, Master’s degree with 6+ years of related experience, or PhD with 3+ years of related experience.

  • Experience designing enterprise platform experiences that connect multiple products or services.

  • Experience in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design for complex enterprise environments.

  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Research teams from concept through delivery, including influencing decisions across teams or functions.

  • Experience using AI-assisted design and/or prototyping tools as part of the product design workflow.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on system-level, cross-product platforms that power enterprise-scale solutions.

  • Portfolio demonstrating strong visual craft, systems thinking, scalable design approaches, and clear storytelling.

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and influencing skills across teams and functions.

  • Advanced proficiency with AI-assisted design and prototyping workflows, including experience helping drive adoption of emerging AI tools to accelerate ideation, experimentation, prototyping, and validation.

  • Awareness of emerging AI and UX trends, with a focus on ethical, usable, accessible, and scalable integration.

  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
